Hey all, As title suggests, I am using a wireless router which works quite fine with wireless connected devices, as I'm currently using my laptop to write this post. The issue I'm having is my desktop is currently connected to the router, and has no trouble communicating with other devices on the internal network, yet when I try to access the internet I get nothing. I've checked the router and DHCP has given me an IP address, I've ipconfig'd and seen that I've got a DNS server. I pinged a google domain name AND IP address, both timed out. I've reset the modem, tried flushing my DNS for the hell of it, release and renewed my IP address, and still nothing. PC Specs: MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3PCPU: AMD FX8320RAM: 8Gb Kingston DDR3GPU: Gigabyte GTX760SSD: Samsung Evo850 250GBHDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TBPSU: Corsair VS650 Router is a F@ST 4315

Hi guys, I've recently been looking to move into the IT field and scored myself an interview with a mobile computer tech company. I just have a couple of questions about the process, because I'm a little worried about it due to my lack of experience. What sort of questions should I expect in the interview? I've just left a job after working there 6 years, so I'm a little rusty. What should I expect from the technical assessment on the day? I've been trying to go back through old notes and read over the basics but I'm not sure what style of assessment they utilise. I feel relatively confident in my basic knowledge, but there might be a few key bits of information I'm missing. Thanks in advance
