    I assumed that, but yea the main problem here is because no ones tried it (as fast as I know) and there isn't massive public details about OLED, and because I can't be fucekd reading it all to work out how everything works etc. And because each phone drivers will be diffrent there is just too many unknowns to know for certain

    Due to it not having a iGPU in theory and in practice (to some degree) the CPU will be able to overclock higher and run cooler. But this does not meen that it is a better CPU for you, as the iGPU is sometimes a life saver when debugging what has broken with your PC this time. Also can in certain workloads be utilised to speed up the applications, so they are faster than what they would run at even without the iGPU and overclocked

    grimreeper132 got a reaction from r2724r16 in Nvidia be shitting bricks right about now or in a few months.
    I must say that it would be nice if this is true, but at the same time even these roumors show that AMD is at least a generation behind nividea as they are building a card to rival a 1080 which isn't even the top teir card from nividea, so despite it looking cheap and powerful, they will only get the lower end of the market, nividea still has the proformance side like AI, as their cards no matter how you look at it are faster.

    Side note I also hate/love the new naming scheme, I hate it as not their next gen CPUs will have very similar names to their GPUs which will be a fucking pain, that being said the cards have a bigger number than nividea so they must be better

    move the
    nonzero_count++; to the end of the while loop as your adding 1 to it immediately, so e.g you start nonzero_count at 0 outside the while loop the first number you will be testing from it will be 1 as your immediately adding that 1 to it.

    This isn't for main stream its for business cause they will want 128GB of RAM sure they probably should be using xeon at that point there is some reasons why they might not wanna, e.g. core series are faster, which if you are using 128GB of RAM might be useful, second thing is the xeon equivalents to the core series will be able to support up to 128GB cause they will also have to support up to 128GB if the core series does, so it might be a case HP was forcing intel to do it so they can get it on xeon as it might be a in for a penny in for a pound case of they should/need to support it on both. Either way it's happening and it is good for the consumer in one way or another

    do you need speed or storage??? If it's speed get 500GB or storage the 250GB + 1TB. For 5-6 games 500GB would be enough, probably, but then 250GB + 1TB would have room for expansion and other games and programmes

    grimreeper132 got a reaction from Technomancer__ in anybody agree that gaming laptops are the worst?
    the older gaming laptops I agree with that statement they did suck, because the GPUs in them where 980m which was about as powerful as a 960, and that was the best gaming card possible for a laptop, where as in a laptop now the mobile and the desktops cards are practically the same so they are no longer holding you back so that is not the excuse now, the only diffrence now is the CPU but even that isn't too bad as they are powerful enough for gaming etc.
    So in summary new gaming laptops hold their grounds vs desktop and are goods, but old ones due to their worse GPUs with minimal performance which outdated themselves quickly (got to remember the 980M was the highest end of the mobile cards, most gaming laptops would have a 960M (149% slower than the 980M) or a 970M (32% slower) which means that they have quickly became out of date slow and bad performers vs desktop

    go for capacity, although the extra speed might help a bit, the extra capacity will help more, it'll mean you can open 8 chrome tabs, rather than 4 with 16GB  but yea I would get the 32GB because of the extra capacity.

    it wasn't pointless, as it did have some improvements over the normal ryzen 8 cores, quad channel, more PCIe lanes and slightly higher base clocks, (it wasn't the i5 7640x or the i7 7740x) that being said yea it was not that much cheaper than the 1920X so was very rarely used with people normally just going for that (like myself)

    The 1900X is only a good choice over the 2700 if you need the extra RAM or PCIe lanes. The 1920X how ever does have 4 more cores which depending on what simulations your doing you might be able to use. If you only getting 16GB dual channel RAM however I would suggest the 2700 as your going to see no benifit really with the 1900X. Just go to the 1920X if you want X399. Also I know that 2 gen TR rumored to be coming out in Q3 (in the next couple months) so it might be an ideas to wait till it comes out maybe

    Are you getting a board that you could overclock on??? if yes get the 8700K (you might not be wanting to overclock not but in the future you might)

    Also K chips because of their overclockableness hold value a bit longer which might be something you care about so yea. As for extra preformance if your not overclocking I would say their would be little to no gain. So yea depends but I personally would say 8700K just so it holds value a bit longer

    it does because by having a rock that's centre of gravity not being in the centre of the body this can cause a moment, thus causing it to rotate slightly, thus losing potential energy to rotation

    No, it's ECC so the 8600K doesn't support it, you need an xeon or an AMD ryzen CPU (I believe all the CPUs released in the last year or so support it) to use the RAM

    if gaming
    SSD -> CPU -> RAM

    if gamign and web browsing (at the same time)
    RAM -> SSD -> CPU

    8GB of RAM is enough if your doing just 1 task at a time at the moment but if you are doing multiple then it quickly becomes an issue, or is your doing modded games, SSD will just speed up everything for oppening programes, booting into the OS and using the GUI of the OS, but won't help much in games. The CPU will help in all three but the problem is it costs significantely more than the other two which is why I suggest it latter down the list

    is that on your case, either way it's fine you only need 1 or 2 for it to be fine, their main use it to ground the mb, this why the holes are shiny/coppered on your motherboard to the case which means you shouldn't run them in a case with none, although that is possible (I have several running off only a couple) but if its a real issue you can get 20 spares + screws for about £5 on amazon they anit too expensive???
    If your missing it on your motherboard it will be fine, just don't try rectify it with a drill or something you WILL kill your mb. If it boots that is, if it annoys you too much RMA it

    all of them are should be used for grounding the motherboard as far as I know, thus why all of them are coppered, and the grounding plate should be connected to the entire circuit and not have 2 or more, cause it becomes possible at that point for it to be fucked up by someone putting only 1 screw in etc.
