Hello LTT forum,
Firstly, I would like to apologize if i'm doing anything wrong & should've put this somewhere else, no idea how this site works, (new user).
Anyway, I have a Dell Latitude E5420, a 2011 model laptop with a i5-2410m that would occasionally shut down due to overheating. I've cleaned the cpu & heatsink of old thermal paste & reapplied the paste. I had made a very bad mistake of not testing thermals before I had done the operation. But it was a decent bit hotter than after. But at idle it sits around 50-59C, Adequate use (browsing the internet, youtube, twitter, etc) around 57-57C & Full load tops at 70C. Could anyone please tell me if this is bad, good, or decent thermals keeping in mind all it is is a business laptop from 2011.
Thank you,
Ariel
