  1. I've got a P8-P67-M Pro Rev3. I'm not really sure how to overlock yet, at the moment I'm just looking into the safety aspect. Thank you for the response!
  2. I recently bought a new cooler for my CPU (Be Quiet! Pure Rock) and I was thinking about overclocking my i5-2500k in order to squeeze some extra performance out of the 4-year-old chip. But since I haven't got the most suited motherboard I'm not sure if I wan't to increase the voltages on the CPU, but instad only increase the core clock and leave the base voltage as is. Is this possible or do I have to increase the voltages, and could extra voltage harm the system? If it is possible, how many Megahertz could I expect to get out of it?
  3. What exactly does this do? My goal is basically to use the bottom GPU when playing games that do not ulilize SLI and therefore not stressing the top card when I don't have to.
  4. So I've currently got 2x ASUS GTX 970 Strix in SLI. Since my motherboard's PCI-e slots are layed out in such a way that the cards are literally touching eachother i was wondering if i could make the bottom card, which has better airflow, the primary card in order to get better temps?
  5. I could tryu that, could you post a link to any of those sites?
  6. The only game where I've experienced any fps below 60 is in Battlefield 4 with ultra settings when there's a lot if stuff happening at once. Otherwise I get a solid 70-100 fps.
  7. That's a great idea but isn't 20% too little? This PC is currently rocking it's 5th year (appart from the GPU)
  8. I currently live in Sweden using the Swedish krona (SEK) but I don't mind getting any recommendations in dollar ($) or euro (€)
  9. What is a reasonable price for my current PC? My rig: CPU: Intel i5-2500k MOBO: Asus P8P67-M pro GPU: Asus GTX970 Strix DirectCU II PSU: Corsair TX650 Bronze STORAGE: 1x Corsair 128GB ssd, 1x 2TB hdd (I would like to keep the HDD) CASE: Cooler Master HAF 912 OTHER: 1x BD/DVD reader, 1x DVD reader/burner
  10. I've got a Corsair TX650, when looking at GPU-Z there's something that sais vRel (reliable voltage). I might spend some money on a 850w psu if necessary. Many thanks!
  11. Hi! As of yesterday I managed to get my GTX 970 SLI setup working, it ran fine for five hours but then my second display turned black and my main display froze. This has happened more and more often. I've not been able to identify what causes it since it happens anywhere (gaming, browsing the interwebs, etc). Some troubleshooting tips would be helpful! Thank you!
  12. As the title sais I'm wondering if my 600w 80+ bronze psu will be able to handle an ASUS Z170-A, i7-6700 and two ASUS GTX 970s. If not is there anything you recommend? Thank you.
  13. So I've settled on getting an i7-6700 together with 2 gtx 970s (that I already own) and I need a motherboard that is suitable. I'm aiming for the $100-170 price bracket. Thank you in advance!
  14. Thank you for your input, think I'll be getting an skylake instead, but wouldn't getting an K series CPU result in better overclocks?
