Is there any way to see who won the giveaway or do we just have to check the mails to be notified?

    Thanks!

at I store I worked in, we had a lady call up who'd had her computer for a while but wanted to send an email
she was wondering how to get the @ symbol in an email
when we told her 'shift + 2' she responded with... and i quote...

"I thought that gave you a capital 2"

we laughed about that for years.

He mentioned in one of his videos where they replaced the core Cisco router with Netgear due to not having anyone who knows a lot about Cisco IOS, and not wanting to learn.

Cisco Meraki is a good (but not cheap) alternative to learning IOS, and is a 'single pane of glass' admin for everything, but really commercial grade hardware

I found earlier TP-Link routers were cheap due to the chipset they used, and some of them had gigabit ports included, but the chipset wasn't powerful enough to handle gigabit throughput. I use an old Netgear with DD-WRT on it at home

Hey guys, ordered the parts for my new PC a few days ago. Will be building it when I get home in a couple weeks. Parts list as follows:
    PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QNVT23
    Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QNVT23/by_merchant/
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor (only reason I got this over a 5820k was because Skyrim loves single core performance, and Skyrim and previous TES and FO games are my top played games)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 106.1 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (hopefully will be fine in a moving vehicle. I'll be mounting it in a place where if it leaks it won't leak on anything else)
Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston Savage 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (might get another set in the future? )
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (OS, programs, and a few important games)
Storage: Mushkin ECO2 512GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (other games)
Storage: Hitachi Travelstar 1TB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive x2 (chose laptop hard drives to better deal with the vibrations of being in a moving vehicle)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury 4GB Video Card (2-Way CrossFire)
Case: Thermaltake Core X9 ATX Desktop Case
Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 1050W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit)
Wireless Network Adapter: Asus USB-AC56 802.11a/b/g/n/ac USB 3.0 Wi-Fi Adapter (to connect to the truck stop wifi/my phone hotspot)
Case Fan: BitFenix Spectre Pro LED 148.7 CFM 200mm Fan x2 (front intake)
Going to be used for games and multimedia.
As stated above, my top played games are BGS games. I'm going to be modding the heck out of Skyrim, Fallout 3/nv, and oblivion.
Some other games in going to be playing are FO4, GTAV, Witcher 3, Tomb Raider 2013, RotTR, Deus EX this summer, WoW, and DA:Inquisition.
Hopefully this should last me a while. Probably waiting for ZEN+ and r9 590/gtx 1180ti before I upgrade again.
Monitor will be a 32" 1080p TV for now. Will upgrade to 3440x1440 when one comes out with freesync and doesn't have the issues the Acer Predator has.

No it isn't, /thread is used when someone gives the be all end all most glorious post to answer the thread title, hence 'thread over'.

Violent Color mini ITX build log:

Hello! I am in the process of cleaning up my first PC build in a long time. With this build, I decided that I wanted to try out a small form factor, and keep things simple. The skull theme is something that is a part of a project I am working on, so that is why you will find it throughout. I consider this first phase to be complete, and am working on getting all of the aesthetics complete before purchasing a graphics card, as I am still not 100% sure what I want to do on that front.

    Specs are as follows;

    Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Impact
    Processor: Intel 6600K
    CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX
    Memory: G.Skill TridentZ 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz
Video Card: Gigabyte 980 TI Xtreme Gaming (Planned)
    Storage: 500GB Samsung 850 Evo, 1TB HGST Travelstar 7200RPM
    Power Supply: XFX XTR 550W
    Case: Phanteks Evolv ITX
Case Fans: Thermaltake Riing RBG 140mm
    Monitor: Acer Predator X34 (Planned)

The case will be vinyl wrapped in 3M Matte black, and I will be re doing the skull on the front panel in gloss black. The pink skull on the H100i GTX was just a placeholder, as you can see in the photo below I have sanded off the paint, and will be painting this to allow just the skull to shine through with the light. Due to the fact that the USB cable from the Corsair doesn't fit on the Impact board, I had to tear it apart and completely re-wrap it, but I still have to figure out how I am going to plug it onto the board without a USB2 header.

I am also in the process of dying my paracord a few different shades of gray, which will be part of my grayscale sleeved cables, among a few other small touches. I will also be painting all of the red components dark gray, which will complete my grayscale coloring of the entire build. This will allow me to change the color of my LEDs to whatever suits my fancy. Stay tuned for updates!
