Lol people still happily run 2600ks. Age doesnt matter here, overclocking will increase longevity for a looong time more than the 6700

Fixed! Not entirely sure how, but I messed around in the bios (In the usb part) of system. Glad that's out of the way

this is the cheapest one I could find thats 144 Hz, there are other cheaper ones on Amazon, but I can't find the refresh rates, if you are looking to max out your 1070 then I would get the one thats slightly over budget.

but if you haven't already bought your 1070 then I would get a RX 480 or GTX 1060 and a decent 1440p monitor.

I have a 5820k with a hyper 212 evo (should be roughly similar to the h55) and am comfortable with a current OC of 4.2 @ 1.26v.
Aida64 temps are about 75c on the hottest core and CPU intensive games and programs stay under 70c.
Normal web browsing, watching videos and other non intensive programs have the CPU run at about 35-40c.

I'd sell the 290 and get an R9 390. You could go 4k on medium/high or 2k on ultra.

green team stands for nvidia gtx graphics cards. There's kind of a war going on between nvidia and amd. Both have pretty good specs, but from what I've seen 950 runs better. Here's some benchmarks that might help.

Hang on. Internet plugs are great, I use one myself. What I will say is that the one I use has varying speeds. On a 240megabit speed, I can spontaneously go from 30 megabit speed to about 5 megabit speed. that's .625 mebabytes at lowest and about 4 at highest.

Found this, It uses N standard (which is pretty good). Simply plug it into a pci slot like you would a graphics card. Will save a usb slot too!

Dunno if it's a mistake or not, but keyboard is £44? I could recommend this coolermaster devastator keyboard and mouse. It really is excellent.  http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-SGB-3010-KKMF1-UK-Devastator-Keyboard/dp/B00CUBQH3G/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1456342947&sr=1-1&keywords=coolermaster+devastator

I got 4.4GHz stable on my chip, and got a little further (about 4.7GHz, albeit unstable) at about 1.3V-ish.
