Crazyroccobuilds reacted to Akolyte in 120-144hz monitor or 1440p monitor gaming with GTX 770?
all my friends scream and cuss on their crappy consoles playing COD. While I... must stand alone, however I'm in the PCmasterrace. Can't complain.

Crazyroccobuilds reacted to Pacc in Finished haswell build [Kind-of]
Hello there!
I put up an upgrade log a while ago but that was with some bad gear and components.
Well anyways, i got a really nice gift from my parents just the other month, a "Gigabyte GAZ87X-UD4H" and an Intel "Haswell i7 4770k"! How cool is that?
So I decided to do an upgrade on my GPU as well, my GTX 560 ti just didn't do the job. So i ordered an R9 XFX 280X. A month later i recieved it and put it in.
My PSU then started to coil-whine so exhanged my Corsair CX600 (old version) to a Corsair RM750 (Nice and quiet).
Specs:
Case - "Zalman Z12 Plus"
PSU - "Corsair RM750"
MOBO - "Gigabyte GAZ87X-UD4H"
CPU - "Intel I7 4770k"
CPU Cooler - "Corsair H60 v2"
RAM - "Corsair Dominator platinum 2x8GB 1866Mhz"
GPU - XFX Radeon R9 280X
HDD - "WD Green 1,5TB"
SSD - "Samsung 840 120GB"
Optical Drive - "???"
Fans - 2x "Noctua NF-S12A", 1x "Noctua NF-F12"
Here are the pics!
Please rate, getting a mechanical keyboard after christmas and then i might get a sound-card
*EDIT*

Crazyroccobuilds reacted to FlakeyBanana in [LTC] Protect&Backup your Money
As many of you know a large amount of us have poured our resources into obtaining Litecoins.it would be a shame if they were lost somehow.
Today i will show you how to backup and protect your wallet file we are using the offical Litecoin wallet
firstly ill show you how to encrypt the wallet.dat file as an unencrypted backup wont be good
so launch your Litecoin wallet and it should look like this without the padlock in the corner
To you eagle eyed people the padlock means that your wallet is currently encrypted and locked
so to encrypt it select the following option from Settings, your's shouldnt be grayed out
just choose a secure PASSPHRASE and make sure you dont forget it
Okay now to back up your wallet.
MAKE SURE YOUR FULL SYNCED BEFORE DOING THIS
theres two ways to do this
the easy one is to use the inbuild backup fucntion found in File >> Backup Wallet
Just make sure you save it somewhere safe ie on an other drive or in multiple locations
So now your like oh yeah totally easy to backup if the Litecoin client opens.......BUT MINE DOESN'T YOU %^^&*&^*&^%*
so heres how to backup your wallet file without the client
Navigate to C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Litecoin on win 7 or vista
Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\Litecoin on win XP
Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Litecoin/ on Mac *shudder*
Navigate to ~/.litecoin/ on Linux systems eg Ubuntu *W00t!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D*
and copy this file Wallet.dat to a Safe location NOT YOUR DESKTOP !!!!
