I don't know...if this is good or bad...but I guess I was expecting more. I am new to cinebench, so feedback appreciated.  Running i7 6700k  @46 multiplier and 1.35v.  Also, for some reason when I try the OpenGL it gives me a failed message at startup, then runs through the entire bench fine, but wont give me a score...?  Any thoughts or ideas how to fix would be greatly appreciated (Gigabyte Extreme 980ti @ stock). Ty!

P.S. Using Hyper Evo 212 air cooling for CPU. Could probably OC more, but didn't want to push it with air cooling...

P.S. Just look at the 980ti with 6 gigs or VRAM compared to the Titan with 12gigs, or other high VRAM AMD cards.  The 980ti often case outperforms many of these cards even with smaller amounts of VRAM...

Assuming you/he selected the option to retain your current files, they should be there.  If you don't see them, first check for "windows.old" in the C: drive and report back.

    I absolutely love this case:

    https://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-air540

And it is on a great sale right now, something rare for this particular case. The case gives tons of room to fit anything you want, tons of air flow, and I just like its aesthetics.  Of course, there will be cheaper that will get the job done ...

Did you try rolling back to the previous driver? I would do that first to determine if it is a hardware or software issue.

If hardware, and unable to RMA, could always try to watercool...

It's safe, but it is set up this way to help reduce the noise.  If you don't mind the noise, which I don't, I suggest doing a custom curve to bring temps down.  In theory, this should also help with OC'ing.

You'd really be pushing that card too far at 4k. Sure it can probably get like 40-50 fps with low-medium settings but you also have to consider the VRAM consumption. With that card already having gimpy 3.5gb of VRAM I think you would really be better off looking at something like the 390 if your budget is tight. I wouldn't bother with the 980, but would highly recommend the 980TI if you can afford it.

    3. If it destroys other components they will have to give you a new pc, if your pc is still under warranty (3 years at cyberpower)
    4. While researching this, I just found out they're using EVGA PSU's wich are pretty good.
