  1. It was widely published that they will usually work, but an update will almost always be required. See this post on the AMD website about getting an "Upgrade kit" from AMD: https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/2Gen-Ryzen-AM4-System-Bootup.aspx
  2. Yes, However, depending on what you get, you may want to be careful of where you plug your dac in, and make sure it is grounded properly. USB devices on laptops tend to have a lot of dirty (EMI wise) signals.
  3. That's a very bizarre setup - You're unlikely to find many films which have atmos sound (Only really become common (though still rare) in the last couple of years, and involves incredibly expensive production so it's not popular anyway) and 3D (which was a fad which died in 2013) because there is literally a few months of overlap. If you can find a copy of Brave you might be in luck, that's one that might be available with both, but there will be very few. Edited to add: The first blu-ray release with atmos was Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) which was released after 3D home theatre was abandoned. Regarding 5.1 over 7.1, I don't really understand, but typically they only seem to come with 5.1. Maybe check your config though if you;re having issues with all of them.
  4. Well it depends on what screen you're using, but if you're expecting to be gaming at a higher refresh rate than 60hz, or higher resolution than 1080p, you'll need a batter card.
  5. As long as you aren't going to push it higher than 60hz or 1080p. If you plan to do that, you'll need a better one.
  6. That laptop appears to be EOL, so there's a good chance it will never come back into stock. Surprising really, as it's at most a year old. Gigabyte laptop support must suck badly.
  7. Sometimes the M.2 drive slot takes bandwidth of other peripherals. Try plugging yout other SSDs into different ports and see what happens. Alternatively, make sure your boot order in your bios is correctly set up.
  8. I think the Elgato HD60 would be a decent fit for your purposes.
  9. For starters, that's a great deal for that spec laptop. How well laptops age is mostly dependent on their hardware. Although the boot SSD isn't huge, I don't see why it wouldn't age well. I haven't personally used an MSI laptop, but I've heard that if you do have issues, their support can be a pain in the ass. I would say go for it though.
  10. You'd need to get hold of a capture card, but I think either of those should be able to encode for twitch. You definitely need to seperate your gaming and streaming PCs though. They're expensive though. There are apparently ways of doing it over lan, but I can't be sure about them working. Check the comments in this thread for more on that one.
  11. You're running a 1060, so that will easily cover you. You might struggle in higher settings with the relatively low vram, but you should befine if you drop texture quality a bit.
  12. Its running at 5ghz on a fairly basic AIO sitting under 60 degrees. What's the problem?
  13. Not something I've experienced. bizarre behaviour, but maybe try verifying your game files in steam. Alternatively maybe your in-game profile is just borked. Try buying a new truck? maybe your truck is bugged out
  14. I'd go with the Dell. From what I can find, it's cheaper and comes with 16gb of ram as standard, where the MSi one comes with only 8. Also I prefer the design of the Dell
  15. Yeah, you aren't doing any editing on that. You're looking at a super-nerfed version of the i3, and you'll be working on a <5w chip, so it's got virtually no power. Its base clock is 1ghz. The i5 and i7 options arent much better - They're all "Extremely low power" chips, with very low base clocks, and they won't boost for long. It's also so expensive for it's spec and accessories.
