  1. Meh, get the Mk3's and you'll be happy, they're better than any modded Mk1 or Mk2 pair. 75$ is quite a good deal tho.
  2. @ 1:29, how can't you know about this?
  3. Another one, another one
  4. MadDogs are modified T50RP Mk. 1 or 2's priced double as much. The new T50RP Mk. 3 is great for the 160$ price, they're made out of that egg protein material that doesn't make you sweat, comes with two cables. They are heavy to drive but they're really fast and are able to play some crazy stuff where regular headphones just would turn into mush, these just play it all without stopping which makes certain music a lot more fun to listen to. Some songs really sound so much better! Then we got the TH-900's personally I don't own any but I have heard them and they're really good, counting in the 1,300$ price tag. They just sing and play as good as my speakers and that's not an easy task.
  5. It's gonna be bigger than that, it would be neat if us VR users could see what games and demos people have tried or created, it would be a decently sized sub.
  6. Well the new Rift is soon out and I think it would be nice to have a place for all the VR games, suggestions and questions. That's because no one got consumer VR yet, but Oculus will ship their CV1's in a few weeks and I believe it would be useful then.
  7. Isn't it about time we get a VR sub forum here now that VR is a big deal again?
  8. No Fostex stuff? I'm dissapoint'd. The Fostex T50RP belong on the 100$ list and the TH-900 on the 1000$ list. The TH-X00's are great but they're a massdrop exclusive so nope.
  9. Ohh man! My body is ready! It will be interesting to see how they will ship the rift, please don't use UPS again! And I wonder what the price will be with shipping and taxes included, I'm a big VR fan so I would pay a pretty penny, but if it ends up being double the price of the DK2 I would pass. Also I'm not sure if my R9 290x will have the punch required, my 4790K shouldn't be a problem so that's good!
  10. It's probably driver or OS related if it only freezes when you've been away. Try to reset your BIOS to factory settings and run a clean install with Windows 10 followed by installing all drivers from your motherboard support page. If you have an old BIOS version try upgrading it. If none of that works my second guess would be RAM, but that's a stretch. If nothing works my guess is as good as yours, could be a faulty CPU or mobo.
  11. I understand, personally my soldering iron is my favorite tool, I can't live without it. I think it's one of those things you can live without but once you start doing some projects with it you notice that you can't do anything without one.
  12. The thing is that it's not hard putting together a premade kit IF you got the tools it's another story if you lack tools and has to buy them all too.
  13. I don't want to be that guy but you should go for a 1151 CPU and mobo with DDR4 memory. Buying into old standards ain't recommended since you will have to spend a lot of money the next time you want up upgrade. Maybe a 6600K with a ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming and some cheap corsair 8gb memory kit will serve you better for future upgrades.
  14. Well if you don't own a soldering iron and clamps it's a quite big deal. People these days, no tools and no will to make anything good...
  15. Get the ATH-M50X or if you can go up a little in price the Fostex T50RP MK3 are amazing for the price, they're well balanced and the special driver they use is somehow able to play a lot of sounds at once since they're so fast, try playing music and play a youtube video at the same time, my HD650's just nopes a little and makes the music sound quite bad when I do that. I haven't tried the M50X's but their rep says it all, they're worth the price just as the T50RP MK3, wish I could personally compare them.
