  1. The screen on my laptop has been flickering on and off for a while. I have ignored it successfully, but now it has gotten so bad that I have to do something about it. I have tried updating the display adapter, but it did not work. I am thinking it may be a loose connection between the screen and internals since it seems to get work when I tilt the device towards the touchpad, but I am looking for feedback if someone else experienced something similar to this. I have attached a video of the problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. New video.mp4
  2. Yes I have tried another cable, and I also tested the current cable and it is working.
  3. I am having a problem with my internet connection. I just upgraded my system to Ryzen, replacing the mb, cpu, gpu, and ram. I use a Netgear EX3700 wifi extender to connect to the internet using the ethernet port on the side of it. Ever since I upraded, i have been dropping connection constantly. I noticed initially that the port on my mb (MSI Tomahawk B450 Max) wasnt locking in, and I thought I was losing connection because the cable kept coming loose. I added a TP-LINK TG-3468 ethernet card, and the problem was fixed for about 2 days. The problem came back, so I decided to reset the wifi extender, no luck. I tried moving the ethernet card to another slot, no luck. I tried connecting via a usb-ethernet adapter, no luck. Everytime I lost connection, I tried fiddling with the cable, and the connection would come back. I am sure the wiki extender, cable, router, and usb adapter are working. I tested them with other known working hardware. I also checked to make sure my cpu has no bent pins, i found none. I am worried I need to replace my mb. Please help CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Nvidia 2060 Super MB: MSI Tomahawk B450 Max Wifi extender: NETgear EX3700 Ethernet card: TP_LINK TG-3468 Cable: AmazonBasics ethernet cable OS: Win10 64
  4. I just upgraded to Ryzen, and I am having problems with my internet connection. I have a wifi Range extender connected to my pc through an ethernet cable. Every so often, my internet will drop, saying that windows has detected a network but is unable to connect to the internet. When i wiggled the ethernet cable around, it would connect, but lose it shortly after. I tried installing a new ethernet card, thinking the port on the mb was bad. This helped the situation for a few days, but now the problem is back. The range extender is known good, the cable is known good, and my router is known good. I am thinking the mb is defective, but would like suggestions before I rip apart the pc to replace the mb. MB: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Gigabyte 2060 Super Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws V Ethernet card: Tp-Link 3468 Range extender: Netgear EX3700 Cable: Amazon basics Router: Basic Verizon router

  6. I am looking for a replacement power supply for my qnix monitor, but all I am finding are overpriced pieces of generic trash or a ps that I am unsure about the connector. Does anyone know of one that will work for sure? It requires 12V 5A but it also says 45W???
  7. Thank you, I only ask because they are both OEM and things can get strange with them.
  8. Can one motherboard be bound to multiple OEM windows licenses? I have an OEM version of win 7 pro and am about to install win 10 pro oem. Will i run into any problems?
  9. The subwoofer on my speaker set is making a humming sound whenever it is plugged into the wall, doesnt matter what else is connected.
  10. There is a low humming sound coming from my speakers and I cannot figure out what it is. It is not from my PC and I tried multiple outlets
  11. I am attempting an upgrade of my PC to windows 10 because of the upcoming games only on the windows store. I am using the media creation tool to upgrade, and it keeps getting stuck on "Getting things ready." I am not sure if it is supposed to take hours, if it is actually, or if something is messing with its operation in the background. Any help is appreciated. Updates specs of my machine are on my profile.
