  1. Linus said link to forum thread on how to install windows would be in description, but alas, none.
  2. I got the Zelotes a while back under a different company - anyone heard of Marvo?
  3. Current peripheral setup: earbuds, ergonomic mouse from some company with an "e" in their name I can't recall right now, Bluetooth keyboard meant for an apple device, mousepad with some weird lump in it I can't fathom
  4. sorry that the sale is over, it had been marked down to $799
  5. I think I may have found my guy! Nice website. I may have gone crazy on parameters, but I found this: Dell Inspiron i7559-5012GRY 15.6 Inch Touchscreen Laptop (6th Generation Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD + 8 GB SSD) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, Microsoft Signature Edition It has a touchscreen! but another tradeoff - No backlit keyboard. I should mention that all the other laptops that my parameters suggested were double the price of this one, and now I find myself really craving that backlit keyboard. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get a surface book or a Razer Blade. Hmm.
  6. mostly because I have nowhere to put it, either at home or my college dorm
  7. found this. on sale for the next week. ASUS K501UW-AB78 15.6-inch Full-HD Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7, GTX 960M, 8GB DDR4, 512GB SSD) Glacier Grey
  8. If you're laughing at that title, well, you're not alone. Talking to friends RL, members of the PC master race who told me that If I wanted a computer to play games I'd do better with a desktop computer. But I'm going to college next year, so I'll need a laptop to take to classes. I make minimum wage. There is no way I am getting a desktop computer, So what I really need is a device that is good for playing PC games, and portable. I found a pretty good candidate here: [Amazon.com] ASUS K501UW-AB78 15.6-inch Full-HD Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7, GTX 960M, 8GB DDR4, 512GB SSD) Glacier Grey It's got good reviews, has an Intel i7 processor, Nvidia graphics, 8 GB DDR4, backlit keyboard, looks pretty decent, all for only $860? The only hangup that it has on me is that it has a touchscreen, something that I've gotten accustomed to and fallen in love with on my crappy little Lenovo Yoga. So this is where I need some help. Is there a decent gaming laptop with a graphics card, touchscreen, maybe looks pretty good? Should I just suck it up and get a non-touchscreen laptop?
  9. I'm not gonna lie. I just want a projector. I'll give you my thoughts after I win it.
