  1. Hello, peoples! I have Renamed my PC (Computer's Name) and when I did the necessary restart, my automatic login failed and a second account with the same name popped up out of nowhere! Of course I can still login with my Microsoft account, but I'm used to just pushing the button and waiting for my desktop. Thank you very much!
  2. Maybe I can get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-16PK-R1 What's wrong with this PSU? It's decent, rated silver+ and It has enough power.
  3. I guess you do not think the 6th gen CPU and DDR4 are worth it?
  4. Everything is new. He's the middle man between the import firm and me. The prices he offers are in (by little) the lowest possible in my country =) Aaand he's a friend. Maybe he is not acquainted with the Skylake.
  5. Hello people! I've decided to build a PC which I'm going to use mainly for architecture software like ArchiCAD, Photoshop, 3D Max, V-ray and for gaming. I expect to run most current games on 40+fps on high detail. I have one 1080p board, possibly will add another one (only one when gaming) Basically I need good CPU and a lot of RAM because most of my renders are on the CPU and I will need couple of programs opened at the same time. I recognize that in 4 years the CPU may prove insufficient for some operations so I will probably overclock it then, thus this motherboard. The dealer I'm going to buy the parts from tells me that the CPU should come with a heatsink and on the item it says "box", so I haven't included one in the price list. I haven't heard about Skylakes with a heatsink though. 6. So even if I get a H97 mobo the RAM will work on 1866mhz, because the CPU supports it? Sadly the GTX 960 is a lot heftier in price here and I can't afford it.
  7. I'm kind of lost with motherboards. Could you please recommend one that supports higher than 1600 frequencies and is in the $100 price range?
  8. $100 tops BGN 220л. 1$ equals 1.8лв. but referencing newegg or amazon the prices in Bulgaria are in the range (1.8 - 2.5) I can go with 1600mhz RAM and lower latency. I don't think this will affect multitasking, rendering or gaming will it?
  9. Hey, thanks for the answere. I have couple of questions: 1) I saw that the r9 380 4gb outperforms the EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4gb. What's the benefit of this "CUDA GPU acceleration" ? 2) I saw some comparisons with the Xeon. Its about 6-7% weaker but also, significantly cheaper. Will the class (i7 or xeon) affect gaming, rendering or multitasking? This PSU will probably work with the budget. Thanks!
  10. Thanks guys. I made a mistake with the listing, its a sandisk 120gb SSD, so no problem with this I guess. I will try to find another PSU. About the Motherboard. Do I need another Motherboard that supports the 1866mhz RAM that I got?
  11. Hello! I'm building a PC for Rendering and working with ArchiCAD, Photoshop, 3DS MAX and other architecture software (sometimes all at once), and also I would like to be able to play the most recent games with high settings on my 1080p 60hz board with at least 40+fps. Other than the build in general I would like to get a specific opinion on the CPU, Motherboard and the PSU. 1)I will be multitasking a lot, sometimes I need 2 or even 3 programs open at the same time. I think this justifies the 16 gigs of ram and the i7. 2)This motherboard supports up to 1600mhz RAM. I probably need another one, right? 3)This PSU should be enough, right? It's listed for $30 but most dealers have higher prices. Aditional Info: I'm buying a CoolerMaster CMP-350 USB 3 Case and one more cheap fan for a total of 2 case fans. The Budget is max $750. I will be buying the parts from local dealerships in Bulgaria and the prices do not reflect the current discounts. 12. As I revisit your answer, I notice that the motherboard doesn't cut it. I would probably need more PCIs and Faster RAM compatibility.
  13. Thank you Xenift. I think I will use the 128 gigs Storage I already have, so this drops out. And I believe I will need 16 gigs of RAM, because I will often use 2-3 heavy programs at once eg. PS, ArchiCAD, Lumion, 3DS MAX The PSU you provided is a bit over my budget, but I'll see what I can do. The PC is not going to work on 24/7, but stressing it can last for 1-3 hours. Thanks for the advice iBeast. I may put some extra cash on the PSU.
  14. Hello people, first time builder here! I'm studying architecture and I have a thing for games. For architecture I'll be using ArchiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUP, 3DS MAX, Artlantis, Cinema4D, Lumion etc. For games I would like to be able to play all the new titles, with at least 30fps on mid level details (more if possible), I'm gonna power 1x 1080p board. The budget is $700, but it's sort of difficult to tell in dollars, since I'm purchasing in Levs and prices here don't always correlate. All the parts will be from local dealers. 1USD is around 1.8lvs but the prices are a bit more expensive so it comes down to about 1.9 -2.2. The budget in levs is BGN1400. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($167.78 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($66.89 @ OutletPC) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury White 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($77.99 @ NCIX US) Storage: Toshiba Product Series:DT01ACA 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($39.99 @ NCIX US) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 380 2GB ITX Compact Video Card ($178.98 @ Newegg) Total: $531.63 (no PSU, Case, extra fan and anti-static bracelet) A lot of rendering will be done on this pc, so I chose a 8-core cpu, because rendering can utilize all of the cores. I think I would need 16gigs of RAM, because It's often I need to open 2 or even 3 programs at the same time. I picked relatively slow speed RAM, because from what I hear (linus and other sources) RAM speed (almost) doesn't matter. I'm basically having doubts about everything else, so let's get started: (here's the choice of parts which I couldn't find in the part finder) GPU. Architecture doesn't actually require a premium GPU, other than the rare cases when you use it for rendering. Gaming on the other hand. The debate here is between Sapphire Radeon R9 380 2GB or SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 270X OC Boost 4GB They are the same price where I live. I heard that you may need more than 2gigs of RAM for gaming and rendering so I found a 270 Radeon with 4 gigs. Motherboard I picked a relatively cheep motherboard. I have no intention of overclocking (this could change). I could try to get MSI 970A gaming which is also cheap but a I wouldn't spend the extra cash if not needed. http://us.msi.com/product/motherboard/970-GAMING.html#hero-overview Storage I currently have one 128gb SSD (it's on the low side but I should manage) and I'm also purchasing 1TB cheap Tushiba for storage. PSU 550W should be enough. I'm already short on money and I would prefer if it's something bellow $60 CASE CoolerMaster CMP-350 USB 3 - around $30
