RiskyBomberPT reacted to Imbadatnames in Need help navigating the sea of budget smartphones
Just FYI, OLED doesn’t mean better. LCD iPhone still crush cheap OLED models.

Putting it into numbers it does seem pretty bad, even considering power efficiency upgrades from the newer chipset. I will still consider it as an option if nothing in the Android space seems as good of a deal when it comes to usability and performance though, but the battery life does seem pretty concerning.

Nothing to worry about.

You could opt for the larger air coolers like the dark rock pro 4
https://pt.pcpartpicker.com/product/F3gzK8/be-quiet-dark-rock-pro-4-505-cfm-cpu-cooler-bk022
Or the NH-D15S

Zalman has been making some good coolers recently. The CNPS 16X is a good option
https://pt.pcpartpicker.com/product/CQsnTW/zalman-cnps16x-49-cfm-cpu-cooler-cnps16x-white
And if you can find a listing locally, the CNPS20X is worth considering too.

this is all good but make sure the new hardware will work with your operating system. at this point even W7 needs an extra goody on the iso.

Unfortunately not, you'll have to get DDR4 (so you could go with the pentium one and get 4-8GB of ram)

Wow the pentium is half the price and (I think) they have the same performance
For motherboard B250 motherboards, since they come with the latest bios. the mATX ones usually come in at 60-80 USD (Not sure about euros)

I don't know, but it has to be soon (Sorry for bad response)
If not I mean you could get a i3 6100/Pentium g4560

I think he means to say not in that socket. an upgrade means a platform upgrade, not just a cpu.

Maybe wait for Ryzen 5?

Quickly browsing, trying to find the cheapest DDR4 2x4GB, I found this:
G.SKILL PC4-19200 2400MHZ 8GB VALUE SERIES CL15 (2X4GB) DDR4 70€
Is this good enough? I'm wondering how it performs comparatively to my current RAM, if better, worse, or equality, because it seems like the frequency is way higher, tho the CL is higher too
quick edit: just realised its 10 euros above my budget, I think I can still push the extra 10 euros tho

RiskyBomberPT reacted to Redportal in Need help with choosing and setting up one SSD drive
When using an ssd, the setup, config and running of the device is the same as for a normal hdd. The only major change would be the way the ssd works internaly. As it has no moving parts therefore being much quiter and heating up less when running.
I would either go with the Intel, Corsair, Or Samsung. Those three ssd's will be your best options.

yes they will apear separately. Disk D: will probably be your hdd. as far as i know there isnt anyting different installing your operating system on a ssd except for better performance.
I would go for the intel one as they are known for having a very high reliability.

RiskyBomberPT reacted to Cheesebaron in Need some recommendations. Prob thinking on a soundcard?
Yes it is a DAC, the advantages it has is mainly that it is able the be used on different computers without having to have a PCI-e port. It also sounds pretty decent and you will be able to drive headphones of it as well.

RiskyBomberPT reacted to Cheesebaron in Need some recommendations. Prob thinking on a soundcard?
A start could be to get something like the FiiO E10, but that will take up most of your budget. You would need a better set of speakers or good headphones to serve it justice. I've had a pair of X-210, they are not very detailed or anything, but for the price I guess they are OK. But if you really want to hear a difference the speakers would need an upgrade, but that is not anywhere near your budget.

Save your cash, getting anything will not help you, more so on speakers then headphones. If you want an explanation I can give one.
(Audya points for asking a question properly.)
