    Is there any rules against advertising a product to break a warranty on a piece of hardware like this? Is Intel likely to get their pants in a twist over this is what I am getting at.

    I would ignore synthetic benchmarks... Better off running a game and checking if your FPS goes up or down or stays the same. I'm most cases if your overclock is stable your FPS will improve (slightly) or might make your FPS more stable while gaming. Synthetic benchmarks are literally only there for enthusiasts who are looking for "bragging rights".

    Its actually £439... so I was off buy about £10. Still pretty good price.

    £430 for the 64GB version is great. Normally you'd be looking at your 500 to 600 quid for 64GB.

    Sounds like you don't have the watercooler seated properly. Is the bracket on the back of your mobo seated correctly, when you touch it does the back plate wobble? Are you using too much thermal paste, or not enough?

    Whats sad? That someone doesn't feel the need to upgrade ever 1 or 2 years? I'm fairly certain a 5 year old PC is quite capable of doing a lot of stuff. My step dad uses a 2009 Macbook Pro and he renders photos he has taken and videos hes recorded and browses the web... No issues there. He is thinking of upgrading but I doubt he will because he doesn't want to sacrifice his USB ports etc.

    But your thermal paste could be dried out, thats what I am saying. Temps for GPU could be too high.

    Huh. Usually on that kind of RAM you can turn that feature on. Also, going off the above. Is your GPU dust? If not you could take it apart (if you're comfortable doing that) and repasting the GPU with some new thermal paste (non-conductive) to lower those temps.

    Do you use an XMP profile in the BIOS? EDIT: Read this, sounds like we may have fixed the issue by doing the above. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki/windows_10-update/bcc116-bcc117-your-video-driver-has-stopped/fba02c53-7796-4166-83a2-9c44865c13af EDIT 2: If the issue returns it could be heat related or your GPU is failing (hopefully not failing). If it is heat you could take out your GPU and give it a repaste and a clean.

    Hmm, looks cool! I've been running Android N on my Nexus for a little bit now and tested out the multitasking feature. Cool that it does this on bigger screens. Will probably test it out on my Nexus 9.

    Thats odd. Everything you just described was hinting at poor power coming from the PSU. Still though, probably a good thing you replaced the PSU. Its better to have a high quality PSU than a terrible high wattage one. Can you try turning the overclocks off on the GPU and also completely fresh install the drivers. Remove them using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in safe mode (should give you the option to restart your PC into safe mode). Then reinstall your Nvidia drivers, preferably an older version, maybe from a few months ago.

    I got mine second hand for £195... whatever that is in dollars. Pretty good price. Only issue with it is the fan in mine makes a weird sound (clicking). But no biggie, I have a replacement fan on the way

    This is good... if you can upgrade the current system without the need to buying a whole new console. This is bad if it means I need to get rid of my current system. I don't want this.

    6 and two 3's... Mantle was good but AMD decided to be stupid and sell it off. Now its gone. DX12 is what Mantle is supposed to be however so far I have only seen slight improvements from people using DX 12 vs 11... Mantles improvements have been far greater than DX12's have so far. And DX 11 is just horrible and old now, needs to be replaced with DX12 or Vulkan... Hopefully Vulkan as DX12 seems to be going nowhere from what i've seen so far. Again DX12 is still new but even so Mantle while it was new was better in its early stages vs DX12.
