But you have to state roughly the amount you would like to spend, saying no budget means people can just find the absolute best option for you even if its realistically not what anyone would buy, and most external cards are not that large, I am curious to know how little of space you have that you cannot fit a box.

honestly if you are mostly gaming, it will be great, it will run games well and last you a few years, down the line you can always just drop in an i7 and a better gpu and go hard for a couple more years. Tl:DR Good pc, good price, I would buy it

Difference is gonna be 10%, max. It's not worth the upgrade.

No not at all RX 480 or GTX 1060 should handle games at 4K really good with more than 40 fps most of the time you can check benchmarking videos if you want.

You can run an Oculus Rift on a $400 prebuilt computer. Maybe not optimal, you might want to spend $600-700, but it will absolutely work on a $400 PC. There is absolutely no reason to waste $1500 on a PC just for VR.

With this bundle, you can get into PC VR for $999.

the price of the vive and rift is high, but the true price is the computer, the psvr sells so well because its only 400 on top of the ps4 you probably already have, meaning instead of needing a $1500 computer you can use your ps4

this is great, if it performs equally, if they equal out in price brackets and have the same performance then it will be just like the 480 vs the 1060, whichever is cheaper for you to get

much the same for csgo, but you also have to look at how valve gave up on controller in that game, I use KB+M in it and im at MG1 right now

it honestly depends on game, if i played the game or one in the series originally on console, i use controller, if i didn't, KB+M, for me its what is comfortable as i don't have any noticeable difference in skill between the two in say FPS games like Battlefield and COD

I think it will work, you can put the 280mm rad for the CPU in front as intake and the 120mm GPU rad in back as exhaust. It'll be a tight fit and not super easy to work with but I don't see a reason it won't work.

WolfoftheShadow7465 reacted to Dobbsjr in Want to make a custom, visually appealing, cooling solution
To clarify, you want to color your coolant, right? It's fine to use certain coolants on a day to day basis. Mayhem's Aurora is a show coolant that will clog when the micropearls fall out of solution. But Mayhem's pastel and dyes do not clog. That isn't to say they aren't without issue. All dyes except UV clear blue will stain over time, red being the worst. But they do clean up with some effort. You also need to avoid adding anything that'll chemically react to the coolants since they use lots of vegetable extract and things like the wrong biocides or leftovers from not cleaning your loop properly will cause them to break down. So colored coolants are perfectly acceptable for daily use so long as you clean your loop properly every once and awhile.

Wait for Pascal as it brings real DX12 support with it.
