  1. It's not necessarily making it harder than needs to. I'm not experienced in this field and the equipment doesn't show for these settings people talk about in videos / forums. It's strange that's there's not a simple plug and play solution in 2024, especially with streaming being in higher demand. "you have the M-Track - just use it" -- This is even confusing to me; my output is the Schiit Stack for high quality output, so switching over would not be ideal (and ASIO doesn't show up for M-Track unless you trying to use it as an output. I'll continue to research this stuff, but if anyone knows any plug-and-play solution i can do between to SBC's / Desktops. Lemme know, I'm trying to set this up for several offices that would like it.
  2. I'm not familiar with ASIO; Quick internet search shows 'Audio Stream Input/Output'. I don't see any ASIO for anything audio in the list, less the M-TRACK Setup, but that's for output only, not input. There are some articles about install in drivers to convert audio sources. but the drivers are from 2017, so unsure if that's how to handle this? Edit: I forgot to mention.. I changed from WDM to MME. It SIGNIFICANTLY quieter, but it may have fixed latency. I'm going to get my high speed camera in a bit and check. But... something is weird about OBS on the capture. Its choppy... like REALLY choppy, like a CD skipping. It's odd. It may be the setup and I'll run through it again to see.
  3. I'm having some issues with audio latency and not sure what to do. I'll go over my the goal, my setup and attempts and hopefully someone wiser knows what to do... Please note, I'm terrible at nomenclature despite using big words like nomenclature. :3 // Goal To have zero latency live monitoring on all audio inputs from all PC's, Audio Inputs and Microphones. Hopefully, to a simple solution as I usually provide Synergy\MwB solutions to friends and family who multitask their jobs and need audio. // Setup \ Hardware I use Synergy and Mouse without Borders on PCs / SBC PCs to work. The current setup is a full desktop Ryzen PC and a Mac Mini for Development. The audio is using the Mac Mini's 3.5mm TRS jack to a M-Track Dual TS Input to USB. Windows primary output is a SCHIIT DAC/AMP Combo (Modi\Magni) Note: Input \\ MAC --[[ TRS \ 2xTS ]]-- M-TRACK SOLO --[[ USB ]]-- DESKTOP Note: Output \\ DESKTOP -[[ USB-C ]]-- DAC\MODI --[[ 2x RCA ]]-- AMP\MAGNI --[[ 6.35mm TRS ]]-- HEADPHONES Note: I know this is a MAC in this example, but I have Windows SBC's that mimic the same problem. This is just my main setup. // Setup \ Software M-Track Drivers are installed on Windows and its buffer is set to 44100hz\256. VoiceMeeter Banana is installed to capture the hooks and truncate it to the main output. It's settings are set to 44100hz\512. (WMD + KS) Researching the settings, they say the buffer being set lower will also lower the latency, but no change seems noticeable below 512 (tested as low as 128 on WDM layer. Seems almost a 1/8th - 1/4th a second off I've attempted to use the WDM console and monitor the hardware directly, but it sounds like its worse. The console on VMB shows the input buffer at 44100hz\485 with A1 Output showing 44100hz\512. (I'm not sure to how to change these settings to test). One of the things i discovered is there is no AUX monitoring on VMB when using OBS to capture video. The audio is nearly 500ms to a whole second behind. I tried to use one of the packaged virtual cable connectors and the results are the same. Note: I do stream, but you can always use render delay (to a point). 500ms on the is max allowed on OBS with the VMB AUX and it seems ALMOST correct(?) // Research I've done a lot of research to no real solution. USB seems to be a problem, but then again the audio output is flawless on the AMP\DAC. I captured high speed video on both inputs and the MAC is about 100ms delayed on the video, which is odd when watching speech like news cause it sounds more far off from the lip sync. I found PCIe cards that have analogue inputs (which would be great for a DESKTOP solution if they have zero latency), but eventually I would want an SBC to SBC solution for lightweight audio work, but I'd assume if the USB layer adds latency, it's moot. I would imagine the buffer constantly stacking up is the real culprit, but its hard to believe in the year of our lord and savior 2024 there isn't a multi capture / output method to sync up audio, especially with streaming \ live services being a major thing. // Thanks for reading and thanks in advance to any advice / solutions.
  4. PWM only... #toTheReturnBin i'll guess i'll do splitters.
  5. #update I got a Commander XT and got everything plugged in... All fans are still 100% regardless of the settings in iCue. I've tried Custom Curves, Fixed % and Fixed RPM... they all stay locked at 1500-1600RPM. Also, tried forced Firmware loading too based on internet research but i CANNOT figure this out.
  6. TL;DR -- I got a 7000D, with 3x Special Intake Fans, 3x Exhaust Fans (Top), and 1x TURBO Exhaust Fan (Rear). However, they are all 3-PIN cause reasons. The included fan hub seems to be PWM only and just puts them at full blast... which is cool, for the PC, but since these are for heavy airflow, they are loud. I'm trying to find a fan hub/controller that can do what I'm told is "Voltage" configuration and maybe control it with a knob, WiFi's or 3G's... but I cannot figure out if some of these higher end fan hubs will do the trick. Especially, when they run 60 USD... The MOBO has 4x Fan Headers in total (not including CPU). I've seen fan splitters as an option in forums, but again, uneducated in how that would impact the board. The system doesn't get that hot, so assuming setting the fans at 25% will put 2 fans at 25% (but 50% voltage)?? I've also seen 3-Way and 4-Way Splitters... Those sound scarier. I also have 2x Pump Ports, I've heard they can take on more splitters (3-Way / 4-Way), I can setup mirroring to fans in UEFI if these can take the hit. Its a Corsair case and I do have iCue... There's this Corsair Commander thing, which I can hook up 6 fans, but again, afraid using non-PWM connections will not allow me to slow down the fans. If anyone has this one, are you able to control the fans via iCue (I saw that they had PWM fan controls, I just wanna be sure it would work for 3-PIN). Also, would you have to use the custom temp readers or just choose a Mobo Source (ie. PCIEX16 Temp Source). Thanks in advance for any advice -- if you have questions, please lemme know.
  7. I would have liked to see Pixel Response performance with these panels. Supposedly this TV supports up to 120hz.
  8. 9900KS + DARK ROCK 4 I've figured out how to tune the Turbo, but the build seems stressed still... The Chassis itself seems to sit well above 70°C (Super hot to the touch). I need to post the cooling issue in the other part of the forum, but was still wondering if Ryzen 5 was bottlenecking 1440p / 120hz since I have several gamers in my fam. Note: I'm trying to go light too as I'm a fan of smaller builds. My goal is to use the Scythe Shuriken and tiny cases.
  9. I know the 2080 Ti / 3070 can push 120FPS at that resolution, I'm just trying not to be CPU bottlenecked...
  10. Budget: 1000 USD Country: United States Use Case: Call of Duty, Doom, FortNite, Indie Games, Streaming, Photoshop / Affinity Existing Parts: 2080 Ti + Predator 3440x1440x120 Detail: I'm working on a lower powered build and the last 2 Intel builds keep overheating. I know the 5600X and 5900X are already the way to go on new builds, but would like to know if the 5600X is capable of pushing 120FPS in 3440x1440 with a 2080 Ti. I achieve this already with most games by setting details to Medium, but most games aren't like DOOM #optimized, so some I usually push the Render Scale to 90%. Does anyone have this configuration? (or similar?) Ideally, looking to basically get a build going to 3440x1440x120 with a 5600X + 3070. (if it is possible). Streaming is whatever, I can always use my Ryzen 7 vKit Server to do the streaming part. Any questions, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
  11. 128GB Holy Pepperoni's!! Thanks for the input guys.
  12. Windows 10 seems to be picky about USB Keys when installing / reading from it. I was shopping around and apparently no one advertises their USB Drives much anymore. My old one was a Corsair Flash VEGA which I can't even find on their site anymore. SanDisk redirects to WD which was unexpected, apparently I missed that... and Samsung boasts about their USB Keys, but get poor reviews. For Windows 10 installations, I don't need that screaming 200-300MB/s speed but would like something small, does anyone have a something this they rely on?
  13. Sorry for the late response... busy with work... Turns out its Monitoring in Windows is bugged or jacked? Sensor on the BIOS is within range... Thanks for all the help tho ^.,^
  14. I'll give that a shot when I get home #atWork Also, would the MOBO detect 95C and shutdown or would the chip itself cut-off at 95C??
  15. Yea, I was reading that too... but I dunno how to test it if it is... any ideas?
  16. I am unsure about whats happening... I got a B450M (MS-7A40) and I installed the chip with the stock air cooler that came with it. Now, it used to be that AMD had those odd locking tabs that clipped to brackets installed around the socket on the motherboard, but this wraith has screws and a backplate. I pulled the brackets, put the plate on the back and got it all together (even used AC MX-4 Thermal Compound). Fast forward a month or so and was doing some maintenance when i realized the CPU at minimal processing was at 150°C (insert appropriate emoji here). So, shutdown, took it apart cleaned it up, reseated with new paste... Startup = 125°C instantly. I did all the check, the fans are spinning on the Block, the cases has fans spinning... I have the MOBO out on a table and its still going nuclear temps... I cannot figure out why its so high from a cold boot. Has anyone ever had issues with this? Thanks in advance. And yes, my other posts are about cooling (i'm starting to think i don't know how to computer anymore).
  17. Update: I got this product a bit ago, so RMA'ing is way out of the question... I went ahead and got a new unit. In the mean time, I installed CAM but only the lighting effects are avail. None of the pump settings or fan settings seem to be detectable. Thanks for everyone's help on this one
  18. I think its just the cooler in this case and making sure I wasn't missing something... I was testing this against an air cooled (old intel basic one) i7-6700K and it didn't get to 100°C. Thanks for the help guys... Do you have any recommendations for a 120mm rad AIO Water Cooler?
  19. Okay so reapplied the paste... Aaaand it seems a little better but no. Pics of temps and mounting. I have no ideas. Edit: Also, I didn't feel the radiator itself, but the airflow coming out of it was very cool. #stillNoIdeas
  20. Side panel is off. I tried some settings in the bios. Full fan speed. 60°C
  21. Tubes are at the bottom of the rad, loop down to the cpu. Think of it as a backwards nike symbol.
  22. I would say even? The case is an h400 and the radiator exhausts out the back.
  23. I do the Pea Size method. I attached pics of the paste. Looks even. I don’t think I can tell how hot the radiator is unless you guys might know.
  24. I have a i5-9600K Stock and Kraken M22 and the temps are: idle 55°C+ prime95 100°C+ Now I’m sure thats not right... it does turbo to well over 4Ghz while running tho. Any thoughts?
  25. I updated it... Hopefully, it helps get the question across.
