  1. I'm proud of Linus Media Group as a whole I've been watching since the beginning and the jump in quality has been astounding
  2. Besides the 7990(doesn't actually perform Well when frame capturing tests it) what and card gets 5 to 10 frames more than a 780?
  3. Sounds like a plan, do you think I would get added benefits from using the ssd as the boot drive and then using the rest as a cache for the hard drive or better to just put the games I play the most on the ssd with the operating system
  4. 2500 us dollars is the ceiling but the build will most likely happen in early august once components arrive, i have ordered the processor and the monitor already
  5. The rog has a higher quality vrm but without high performance cooling you won't be able to see the difference because of haswell's inherent heat output
  6. That is very true that the luck involved In the chip will play a much larger role.
  7. Also for the same cost as the Asus 780 there are options from gigabyte and evga that offer quiter and cooler operation which adds performance In gpu boost 2
  8. Only thought I have is that if you are planning on over clocking the cpu extensively Asus themselves recommended the rog line and the hero is a little cheaper than the sabertooth, but I definitely dig the reliability that comes with the tuf series of boards
  9. Thanks for the great advice, I'll definitely stay aware of that if I decide to move the case.
  10. hmm searched google and toms hardware had this video linked thanks for the fast reply btw
  11. oh yeah went with the Asus pa248q per linus saying in his 2000 dollar build that he and slick weren't bothered or aware of any input lag while gaming, and i'm not planning on hardcore fps gaming being the majority of my gaming i will be playing a ton of bf3/4 though but i'm willing to sacrifice some motion blur for better contrast/color reproduction if that ends up being the case.
  12.
