  2. Hey guys, i have recently bought the SteelSeries Siberia 100. Since it only came with one audio jack. I needed to get an adapter/audio splitter so that the mic could work on a desktop. Yesterday, i went and bought an adapter. Using the adapter the mic seems to work fine but I totally lost audio on the right side of the headphone. This happens regardless whether the mic is plugged in or not. The headphone still works fine without using the adapter. What do you think is causing this to happen? Is the adapter at fault? Should i ask for a replacement adapter? Thanks

  5. Hello guys, i am planning on building a budget PC. One problem I encountered is whether to choose an i3 or an i5, I am planning on building this rig: CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7 GHz MOBO: Gigabyte H110M DDR4 LGA 1151 GA-H110M-DS2 RAM: AVEXIR 8GB DDR4 2400MHZ LED GPU: NVIDIA GTX 950 SSD: ADATA 120GB SSD HDD: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM PSU: FSP Hexa 550W 80+ Certified Power Supply CASE: Techware F3 Black/Blue Case, Window I am currently studying web development and I also do light video editing and some photoshop. The main reason for this build is so that I can play some games like overwatch, gta v, witcher 3,tomb raider and csgo at suitable fps, but i also want it to do well if I use it to do my work. Do you think i should go with i3-6100 or i5 6400 or something else? You may also recommend me to change some of the parts if you think that they are not good.
  6. Hello guys. i am currently doing an assignment in Cyber Security and one of the task is to encrypt 1000 passwords(stored in excel) in SHA256, MD5 and Bcrypt. To do this, I have to find a website which can encrypt and treat multiple line as separate strings so that i could easily put it in excel without repeating it 1000 times. I have found a website for both SHA256 and MD5. But I havent found one for Bcrypt. Could you guys provide me a link or another way to encrypt 1000 password? Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks.
  7. I wish i could get this projector. It is amazing. Having a short throw projector is awesome and it being so compact and small is even better. It makes it easier for us to watch a movie in a big screen easier. Rather than having to set up a chair far away to put the projector on it. I hope I can win this giveaway.
  8. Hello there, I'm new here; I am currently doing an assignment and i am a networking novice ; Honestly, im not even sure if i am in the correct page here. I have been given a task to make a proposal for a SOHO(Small Office/Home Office) network. The company is an insurance company and has a financing officer, business manager, an administrator and 5 agents. Everyone in the company has a computer, but there are only three printers. Two printers are located in Business Manager office and Finance office. These computers and printers are not connected to any network at all. This company occupies half of a small building in an office park where it has three small rooms, one pantry and two restrooms. The objective is to make the users able to print and share their work within the company without using a USB pendrive. The budget is about USD$ 3652.83 In my opinion, i would buy a NAS( QNAP TS-453 PRO (2GB RAM) ) and connect some or all of the printers here. a Switch, router and modem. I may install a Gigabit NIC( if there's enough money) Some RJ 45(ethernet) cables to connect all of them together This will be arranged in a Star Network Topology. And a UPS for the NAS. I am open for any recommendations, as i know almost nothing about networking. I hope some of you guys may be able to help me. Thanks, Have a Great Day.
  9. Hey guys, im new here. I am planning to build a low cost pc which could be easily upgraded in the near future. Im planning to get a decent motherboard, i7 processor, only 1 stick of ram, 1 HDD and no graphics card to start with.(to save cost). However, I have no knowledge about what power unit to use. Im planning to buy a good graphics card when i have more money in the near future. Im planning to use it for web programming, editing(movies and photoshop) or even playing games(Dota 2, cs go) if possible. When i buy the graphics card later this year, that's the time when i would use it for gaming. As for now, mainly just for work. Can i get some recommendations for what specifications i should go for.
  10. I need the SSD to build my first pc as i am tight on budget. Having a SSD at no cost can save me enough money to get a better and more badass processor!!
  11. Kova, because i have been using the same mouse since 2012 and the paint is peeling off. I need to get my global elite in CS:GO.
