  1. I think the Blade Stealth is far superior to the the Blade 14. The ultra portability, along with the desktop performance at home. Along with the fact that I can actually open chrome on it now that it has 16GB of RAM, makes it far better the Blade 14. Why bother trying to stuff all your performance in one machine, when you can have an ultra portable one and the performance at home. Who really games away from home anyways?
  2. Been using a Razer Death Adder for a long time now, its starting to show its wear and I've been looking to replace it. Would love to give a new mouse a try in my heavy internet browsing/gaming workload.
  3. Since you're looking at the Momentum On-Ear I would suggest looking at the V-Moda M-80s/XS. The XS is the newer version that folds up, that's the only difference between the two. Personally I own the M-80s, and when I tried the Momentum On-Ears I found them very underwhelming IMO. That may just be because of my taste in music favouring Rock more than anything, but I guarantee the build quality and durability of the V-Modas far outstrip the Sennheisers.
  4. According to previous replies they sound very similar (the same). Personally I would fork up the extra cash and get the HyperX Cloud V1 or V2. The Siberias sound terrible in my experience, and are nowhere near as comfortable as the HyperXs. I always recommend spending that little bit extra to get a quality product than trying to cheap out and having to replace whatever you bought within a year.

  6. Which is what I mean, just because the 290x performed badly on DX11 and much better on DX12 in one scenario doesn't mean improvements across the board.
  7. This article is pretty bull, its based on a single demonstration, with only two GPUs. This just means that DX11 was badly optimized in this situation the the 290x. We know that the performance gap between the 980 and 290x is not that extreme. This is just another click bait title article with little substance to back up its claim.
  8. Best headphones for for hearing footsteps and the like are the Audio Technica AD700x or AD900x. Between the two options you presented the Cloud's are easily the choice. The V2s are not that great in terms of quality, and they also experience lots of problems with onboard sound.
  9. Dude, VModa's shit is really good. They look good and sound good. M-100s are some of my favourite cans at this price point. Compared to the momentums its more a preference of music that will make the difference. Otherwise they are on par. Also these fold up nice and tight and are WAY better built than any of Sennheiser's stuff.
  10. Don't know how no one's answered this, but the X1 does not have a DAC functionality. Only the X3 and X5 have that. Personally I own the X3 and it has definitely been one of my favourite purchases. I use it daily. Also with the AudioEngine you can continue to use it as your desktop DAC with the X3 as you can use the X3 as only a an amp with the line in. Honestly there are so few DAPs at this price point that if you want that DAC/player combo Fiio is your only option.
  11. They also add a 1 year warranty on the entire build itself, so you can take it back to them if you have any problems.
  12. There's a site called HDtracks.com They don't have everything but they do have a large selection of music and provide it all in very high quality lossless format.
  13. Not when introduced well. WoW only has cosmetics available to purchase, and this would only represent game time. The same as buying a game time card or paying via subscription. In reality it does become something like paying for gold, but gold sellers already do that so this will encourage people who were going to pay for gold illegitimately to purchase something legitimate instead. Blizzard has been well respected for how they manage their games, and I seriously doubt they will do something like this to their biggest source of revenue without careful planning.
  14. Just downloaded and activated my 1 year licence. It's legit. Advanced system care is pretty well regarded in the first place anyways. Though if you really want to be careful about it, Sign up with a throaway email, and download the client from Iobit. Then use the code.
  15. Sorry but I owned the same pair for over a year as my daily drivers. When I first tried the Shure SE215s I was blown away by much better sounding, and how much more comfortable they were compared to the Sony's. If what Linus is saying is true about the sound of the Sennheiser's being even better, the Sony's stand no chance IMHO.
