  1. I find it dumb to need to create an account for getting prices. I guess it's the same for knowing which creators are on the platform.
  2. I'm a battlefield noob and English is not my first language. I do speak English but when things get hot, I might get tongue tied. If you're cool with that, we could give it a try.
  3. I just ignore shorts. After a while, YouTube's app removes that first row of shorts. I guess it ends up learning that I ain't clicking on that digital crack and stops suggesting them at all.
  4. I also built my dream PC and in order to use it more, but not spend all of my time gaming, I started a MS-DS. I don't know if learning to program or machine learning is something that entices you. Maybe music production?
  5. I would try on Ali express. No idea of how to choose the best quality.
  6. I never though of that, but I also rock LTT dbrand skin at work. I'm almost certain no one here knows what LTT is, though.
  7. I think it needed to go to a USB port on your motherboard. Hope that makes sense.
  8. No one likes to pay for a subscription, nor having adds. The reason I choose to pay for YouTube premium is because I acknowledge that running YouTube is not for free, and it has the benefit that it somewhat rewards the creators I like. In the end, you are passing your costs to the rest of us that watch the adds/pay the subscription. Tipping creators won't solve the fact that the rest of us will have to watch more adds nor pay higher subscription fees. I'm not judging you. Just something to think about. In the end, if you think that tipping is the best solution, you could try what they suggest: buy lttstore gift cards. You could even redeem them later!
  9. I'd say it somewhat depends on your PC specs. Back in the day, when I built my first PC, I bought a UPS thinking whichever was ok. When I launched some games, it made a lower beep and turned off. Later I learnt that UPS and surge protectors are rated for maximum wattage and how abrupt load changes can be. I ended getting a cyberpower UPS which had worked well for me. My recommendation would be to look up the expected power your computer will draw at peak usage (which is not the same as the wattage of your PSU), and based on that look up for a UPS. For example, my computer plus periferials at max draw around 550 w, even though I have a 750w PSU. Therefore a 600w+ UPS should work.
  10. If you feel bad about using an add blocker, why not consider YouTube premium? They say it's way better for YouTube and for content creators, and you don't get adds plus other stuff. Everyone wins.
  11. You don't need no paperwork. You just need to connect to your PC to your router via Ethernet and enter to router.asus.com. Asus also has an app for managing their routers. Edit: Dude, what are you talking about I just searched for an Asus router and they clearly have the instructions I just provided written down on a paper.
  12. What? I don't get what's the problem. I have an old Asus router and for the first time configuration, I need to enter to router.asus.com, or enter the router's IP, which comes in the paperwork. When you do that, you connect DIRECTLY to the router. Therefore, you're not going to be asked for any cookies since they are not required. Once there you can configure anything you want. I also have a Linksys router which works the same way, so I think that's pretty standard. Also, as many others have stated, not all cookies are bad. Cookies main reason to exist is to store your preferences (If you switch to dark mode, if you wish to stay logged in, a meta cookie to store your choice of not allowing tracking cookies,.etc.). The reason you're being asked which cookies you want is because some privacy European regulation, if I recall correctly. That pop up asking you to configure which ones you want is your friend , not your enemy.
  13. I'm guessing they can charge you to your stored credit cards. I closed my account because of this.
  14. Yes I care about the environment. I try to reduce, reuse and recycle (in that order). I can't stand people that don't care, which are the most where I live, unfortunately. They are really good at consuming but they can't beeven asked to separate their trash. Check out the laptop cooler I made with trash from my PC build.
  15. I have one very similar to the one in the link https://www.mi.com/mx/product/mi-vacuum-cleaner-light/ The mattress cleaner is an additional accessory. I've never had another vacuum cleaner, so I don't have anything to compare, but it does suck a lot of dust from the mattress. It does not has uv light and I'm good with that. It also never gets hot.
  16. I just spent about $100 USD on fans, because my friends complained that they could listen my PC through the mic. I'd say noice went down by half and my GPU remains cooler, so no regrets.
  17. The problem with heat is that it radiates In all directions. I assume that for this to work, you would need to water cool all your components so that you capture most of the heat. The problem you'll have next is how quickly you can transfer the heat from the water to that device. Radiators are able to disipate the heat quickly since through all the fins (or however they're called ), they create a very big surface area. To be honest, I think you'll be better buying some solar panels. Anyway I might be completely wrong so if you do it, please keep us posted.
  18. That's what I thought, but Jay said that older power supplies with the pig tail might have been designed at a time of less power hungry graphics card, which I think makes sense. I guess that's why Nvidia recommends not doing what I was doing. When I built my fist PC, I chose the corsair cx750. Latter I learned here that those were actually known to catch on fire, so I inmediatly switched it to the RM. That's why I'm so paranoid about fire hazards.
  19. So I thought I finished upgrading my pc by getting an EVGA (F) 3080Ti XC3, until I got second thoughts by watching this Jay's two cents video about power delivery to gpus. I was using the pigtail connector as in the attached picture. Also I'm doing mining with it while I'm not gaming, although for that purpose, I set a temperature limit to 70°, since I want the graphics card to last. Just for me to be aware... Was it a fire hazard? I already plugged the second PCIe 8 pin connector, since doing some googling made me aware that Nvidia recommends doing so for 30 series +. Since I've already made this post, is my PSU enough for my PC? Specs: Corsair RM750i EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ryzen 5600x
  20. Maybe that would be the best solution. I bought this Juno app. I've tried it locally but now I recall it has some remote server connection function. Thanks.
  21. Hi everyone. I use my Linux pc for doing machine learning stuff. Right now I can't afford buying a laptop, but I have an iPad pro with magic keyboard. You see where I'm going. I've tried using team viewer but it displays as my pc monitor (i.e. Ultrawide with black bars up and down and everything looks tiny) so it's barely usable. I've also attempted to use VNC through some tutorials but couldn't get it to work. Does anyone have any suggestion for this? Thanks.
  22. I can't access to Netflix nor Amazon prime video while using PIA. Don't know if I'm missing some secret to do it, though.
  23. I face palmed so hard I almost got a contusion.
