The tariffs only went in effect in July so that can't b e the reason they're shutting down and only using it as an excuse.
They have been struggling for years now...  I have a SMA8 and the clips they use to hold the doors are utter crap, the clips in general are just awful...   The doors after awhile will push thru the clips thus making it very loose and eventually you can't shut your doors anymore.

Them going into bankruptcy has nothing to do with the tariffs, it's due to the fact the company was mismanaged, couldn't diversify, and a lot of ignorance on their part.

    Edit:
Went and checked the tweet, I guess everyone wants to blame the tariffs for CaseLabs closing when it's CaseLabs own fault for shutting down..
Lots of Trump hate when it's not his fault, sooner or later tariffs were going to happen but hey if people want to act stupid(sorry..gotta be PC but we know the word I am referring to) let them...

As far as I am aware those tariffs do not apply to goods but to the import of raw products E.G steel and Aluminium.  Happy to be educated, but Most of the analysis I have seen indicates the only people in the US who are goignt o benefit are steel makers as producers will all have to pay a higher price for the raw materials.  Where as caselabs do not have to pay a higher prices and are subject only to the import tariffs already applied.

Bush did this in 2002 to the US and that resulted in job losses in the US, not so much in other countries.

Company can't compete. Blames tariffs that don't even have an effect yet.

Similar thing happened with steel products used in construction, tariffs are blamed for the most recent price increase, but the tariffs were ultimately irrelevant as said price increase was known to suppliers well in advance.

Depends on the case you're using and the space you have to work with, I usually will go with the largest tube available, however doesn't mean I wouldn't use some smaller tube in tighter places (like Ram to CPU or CPU to rad top).

The inner diameter isn't that important as for rigid tubing outer diameter is more important as that's the measurement you'll be using for you fittings so 12/16mm is what I'd personally go with.

Grounding issue, are you plugging in directly to the wall or a surge protector? or UPS > Surge Protector > The Wall?

I have a feeling you're plugging directly into the wall and if you're getting shocked you need to call an electrician.

How about before making this so simplistic as brand vs brand, we don't talk specifically model vs model? maybe if you tell more of actual meaningful information like what you're planning to do with the card, what you can afford and so on we could actually do something here.

Depending on the buyer you could get enough for a GTX 1080ti,  I however would sell everything individually to get the most out of your hardware.

How much a build should cost depends on what you want...if your like me you simply only buy the best hardware regardless of price but not everyone can do that "or has the patience of a saint...I'm a saint!"  If you can't afford x399 or x299 look at Ryzen A4 or Intel Z270 and get the chip and motherboard you KNOW you can afford.

Set a budget, $800-2000 is a very common build budget but remember $2,000 won't go far in a X399 or X299 system so you have to look at the mainstream chipsets because they're cheaper.

What are you actually trying to do with this system?  If you doing cad, 3d work, video edition, I would save for a x399 or x299 system just because it would be more beneficial to you.

    Depends on your field.
DC is far more specialized than wireless. If you're working with SMB customers or management of networks at large companies than the number of times you will encounter wireless issues is far greater than DC issues.
The amount of clients who need wireless consulting is far greater than the number of clients who need DC consulting.

ErickS89 reacted to WMGroomAK in No more ReFS outside of the Workstation?
As a part of the list of features that the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update lists as being removed or deprecated, Microsoft decided to update this list on 8/17/2017 to remove the ability to create new ReFS partitions outside of Windows 10 Enterprise or Windows 10 Pro for Workstation.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4034825/features-that-are-removed-or-deprecated-in-windows-10-fall-creators-up

While I can understand that this is a feature that MS wants to tout as being for the Enterprise environment, I don't think that MS should be removing it as a feature from the consumer Windows 10 Pro as there are probably users of ReFS out there with a standard Windows Pro license. Especially odd move if MS wants to see any sort of wider spread adoption of ReFS outside of the enterprise space...

Just as a note, I didn't see any of this mentioned in the prior Fall Creators Update thread or Windows 10 Pro for Workstation thread...

I have a 6GB shared Verizon data plan. I burned through half of that in an hour. Keep in mind that Verizon charges $15 to our bill for every gigabyte I or anyone else on the plan goes over the 6GB limit. Had I continued working, our next bill would have been wicked expensive.
