    Maxpphire - I almost feel bad for posting in the first place. As I mentioned, they're obviously going to do what it takes to succeed, that I can't hold against them. With LLT in particular I'm glad they're effectively one of the top credible tech channels and would HATE to see them dwindle.     Ok, forgive me now, but on further inspection detailed tech specs suggest the PC Specialist has a thickness/height of 25mm, whilst the HP Omen is 32.9mm? YET, the Omen looks about 1/2 the size of the PC Specialist in the pictures...I don't think I'll ever choose a laptop at this rate PS. pbx2, thanks for letting us (me) hijack your post

    Balls of Mary, nice Pendragon. Not a fan of these 3rd party fat bottom girl encasings, but hey (you do get SO much more for the money) I've never actually heard of a 3K screen til 4 minutes ago. You could even wap in a 500GB EVO AND a 1TB EVO forroughly the same dosh. What is this madness...

    In fact mate, I'll be sploshing £609.10 over that budget...but one DOES get: i7 7700HQ 16GB RAM, rather that 8. 256GB PCIe SSD + 1TB HDD GTX 1070 4k screen as opposed to 1080p The free Xbox One Elite controller - I have an Xbox 360 controller...that I never use, but that's still £120 worth of hardware! (online selling bay anyone?!) With the 'FLASH 10' code, this is surely a joke?!:

    So I've been slowly building my rig with the aforementioned components and was gutted to find I don't seem to be able to mount the radiator and fans in the top shelf as the high profile memory gets in the way I've mounted in the front for now, but has anyone found a way around this?!

    I am FINALLY making the migration from Mac to PC - it's my first ever build and I'm going completely overkill and I don't care So far I've bought an Asus Maximus VIII Formula mobo + 16GBs of Corsair Dominator Platinum memory.
