  1. I'm having a bit of a struggle with configuring my network. I have 2 routers and few devices connected on them, like it's shown on picture below: Yeah it isn't great picture, but you get the point how I have it wired. Now the problem is, because I can't connect from PC with IP 192.168.0.103 to any device with IP 192.168.1.x. I made some static route on my Router2, so devices from 192.168.1.x can connect to those with 192.168.0.x IP. I just can't get it working the other way around aswell. I also have problem with name resolution or however it's called. Before I was able to just "\\pc-name" in windows explorer, but now I have to type "\\IP_of_pc" to connect on computer from different router. Is there any way to fix that aswell also?
  2. Not sure where exactly should I post this, but here it goes. I bought brand new Hyundai i20 in my country, and with it, I received phone holder as well. It supports up to 5,5'' phone size, so to fit my Galaxy A8 2018, I will need to slightly cut some plastic from this phone holder. But that's not the issues. My main problem is, that it only comes with lightetning and micro usb for charging. My phone is using Type-C USB, so I can't even connect it on. I'm wondering if there is any place, that sells something like this, but with usb type-c
  3. So any news about your CPU? Working fine as it should?
  4. I bought G603 not long ago and it's amazing. I was tired of using my Razer cabled mouse ... dust would always collect on wire, so I just bought G603
  5. It's great utility to OC your CPU at the begging when you try to find out what you can get out of it. Once I got my stable OC, I did set it in BIOS and now I'm not using this software anymore. Well sometimes it comes handy to turn down fan speed, when trying to find coil whine on my motherboard
  6. First you should run AIDA64 or prime95 stress test to see what are your temps under load. For aida64, select CPU+FPU+Cache stress test and report back your results. If you have enough headroom for overclocking, just change voltage to something like 1,325 and frequency 4,8GHz. Then check again your temps.
  7. That's another story ... I was mostly pointing in direction of harming CPU. But sure, the lower the better for noise
  8. Water resistant is more like for those drops of rain or small splashes of water on your phone. Not sure what's the official on that IPS67, but if Apple claims that it can hold in 1m deep water for some period of time, you can try to argue about that.
  9. It would be game engine bottleneck. Some games (MMORPGs mostly) will benefit from strong single cores. For example my GTX 1070 usage was 50%, and CPU (Ryzen 1700) was 30%. Yet I got 30fps in BDO. Now I'm using i5 8600k at 60% load and GTX 1070 working at 80-90% ... getting smooth 60-75fps in BDO. Hard to say what's the cause of your problem, but I'm certain that if you put i5 8600k or 8700k in your system, you would have much higher fps. At least those are my experiences with some games. Overwatch had no problems on R7 1700, delivering me same amount of fps as now on 8600k, so it kinda depends on the game and it's engine.
  10. You are fine ... even if you would use conductive TIM it would be most likely fine, since you are not using CPU while that happened, and there is no electricity going trough those pins. Since you used non-conductive TIM, there is no risk at all. Like someone else said, you could put that TIM directly in the socket and it would still work, as long as those pins will make contact with motherboard.
  11. As long as you are under 85°C at all times, you are good to go. Anything under 70°C is pretty much perfect. 95°C and higher is when CPU might starting to decrease it's lifespan. Then again system would shutdown at 100°C to avoid that, so no need to worry about your temps
  12. I have i5 8600k and I really like this chip. It's better in all scenarios when you compare it vs 7700k. It doesn't have HT, but it does have 6 strong cores that benefit in games. Not to mention that both single core and multi core performance is better on 8600k vs 7700k. I also find 8600k to be cheaper and you will probably be able to upgrade to another CPU on that same platform. If you buy 7700k you are pretty much stuck with that ... I don't see why would anyone buy 7700k today, unless you get it used one for a great discount.
  13. Because for some reason there are new crypto currencies that are profitable again. Last time I check it was around 1,2€ per day profit from GTX 1070, and now I see it climbed back to almost 8€ per day with single GTX 1070 GPU. I'm just waiting for countries to start blocking and making use of those currencies illegal, then we can finally go back to normal GPU stock and prices.
  14. https://whattomine.com/ Here you can see how much would you be earning with your GPU. NiceHash is the easiest program to use for mining.
  15. That's one of the stupidest thing I heard today H series just means that you can't overclock your CPU. Since you are buying locked CPU anyway, that doesn't mean a thing for you. In fact it's more likely that Z motherboard will kill your CPU because you would be overclocking it too far. Your friend have no idea what's he talking about.
  16. You don't need that plugged in. And your speakers on stereo is probably driver issue. That thing on the picture is only for POST beeping, to figure out what's wrong with motherboard if PC doesn't start.
  17. You can edit with any kind of CPU ... it's only a matter of time that it would take to edit something. i5 8600k: 2min i7 8700k: 1min 40sec that was just an example. So no, you don't need 7 lineup for video editing, but it comes it handy if you are editing few hours long video that usually takes more hours to edit. Yes and no ... to be honest raw performance isn't that much better than i5 8600k. Not to mention that some programs for video/audio/picture editings still prefers Intel strong cores, and 8600k would be better choice even over 1800X.
  18. R5 1600 vs i5 8600k ... Intel sure does cost more but 8600k comes in REALLY handy for MMORPG games. On the other side, you have R5 1600 for lower price, with less thermal problems and it costs less. But it does lack in single core performance, what MMORPG games really depend on.
  19. For games that OP mentioned ... I have to agree with that.
  20. Difference between CL14 and CL15 is so small that it isn't worth the extra money. You wouldn't notice any difference between the two of them in 99,99% case usage.
  21. They are not making mATX so I'm not interested. And for 200$ you can surely find decent Z370 motherboard anyway ...
  22. i5 8600k at 5GHz without AVX offset will use around 130W at max load. So try to get some decent cooler that can handle at least 150W. I'm using dark rock 3 and it works like a charm.
  23. Next Ryzen version probbably won't be much of an improvement. I would say around 10% better than current one.
  24. It's because of Windows 10 latest updates. https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?98821-ASUS-AI-Suite-3-quot-The-server-threw-an-exception-error-quot
  25. Depends for what are you using your PC. If you are into MMORPG games, then your best choice is Coffe Lake overclocked to 5GHz or beyond that. And that I can tell from my experiences. With Ryzen 1700 at 3,8GHz I was getting 30-50fps in Black Desert Online. Now I get from 50 to 75 (could get higher, but I have v-sync on my 75Hz monitor). I think that was smartest move I made in few years when it comes to upgrading my PC. Then again I only play MMORPGs which have shitty optimization and really benefit from those strong cores.
