You are incorrect, 1008w was the wattage peak not the y axis scale. I have other screens shots at 992w and 984w, they are peak numbers.

It's a single 3080ti and that was last night. I'm not sure however how accurate icue smart link is, but it should be accurate.

I just ran furmark 1440p. Installed this card last night.

So I just installed a 3080ti ftw3 hybrid last night, I'm running an hx850i and through icue I'm seeing as high as 956w output. No ocp or shutdowns however I am starting to look at getting a 1200w. Not sure how accurate icue is, so I've also reached out to jonnyguru as well. Just some food for thought.

Those short cables were the trash they sent me and I call bullshit on the splices being necessary. Here are the replacements I ordered from a pslate custom cable company made in the US and invoices for both cablemod and pslate. Cablemod order was for 4 cables, pslate was for 5 as I added the sata power.

I think this is a 30 series issue. I've noticed that some big streamers have been having issues with their 3090s. From watching dr disrespect running a 3090 now I notice his fps is pretty bad for 1080p low competitive setting, like 160-185 fps. For comparison my 2080ti gets me 135-165 fps running 1440, basically ultra no RTX. He even had a couple days where it's was giving him SLI micro stutter. I can't remember who he said it was, shroud maybe, but he was talking about the issues on stream with zlaner. Said his stuttering seemed to be fine but the streamer he was talking about pulled out his 3090 over the weekend and went back to the 2080ti. So your issues with the 3090 aren't isolated to just you. It seems a lot like an overclocking issue I stumbled on with a 1080ti ftw3. It would would go into some sort of unrecoverable soft crash or safe mode. Would still boost clocks however it would stutter like crazy, fps would take a big hit and it would be suddenly power capped or limited until I rebooted the system.

Go to msi's website and download the latest bios and flash that. That's what solved my issue.

Bringing this back from the dead. Just recieved my cables from pslate customs, I had put them on hold for 30 series consideration. So here are the impossible cables that must be spliced. Please note the absence of splices, oh and the doubled wires looking just terrible.... I told you there was a better solution than splicing, cause this is basically how I would have built them myself. As far as sense wires are concerned that is. You'll notice there are three more pictures of your cables, disassembled, side by side with corsairs braided cables that came with the power supply. Things to note. I remember @jonnyGURU talking about the type of plastic used in Corsairs psu connectors, using the right type for strength and temperature resistance. There is big gap in quality between there connectors and the ones you use. The plastic is definitely cheaper, more like petg or maybe PVC. They are very soft and squishy where Corsairs are much tougher and very rigid. I'm more disappointed in the actual quality of the cables construction compared to the Corsair cable's. The molex pins you use seem much cheaper than Corsairs. Where Corsairs are bright chrome plated, more rigid and seem better formed the ones you use are only thinly nickel plated and the metal is a little softer. The softer material definitely does not hold the wires securely as they come out of the crimps pretty easily, especially the sleeving. The sleeving came unsecured from the crimp with very little force, like just tugging on the cable. This is somewhat do to the cheaper molex pins but more to do with the assembly. Corsairs cables had the sleeving crimped with the larger more positive connection rear crimp biting tightly into both sleeve and wire jacket. Your cable sleeving was also secured in the rear crimp. However the crimp is only in the sleeving with the bare conductor underneath, no wire jacket. So the only crimp holding the wire to the molex pins is the smaller forward electrical connection crimp. The Corsair cable and sleeving crimps didn't and wouldn't come apart with much more force. Your cables cost more than the power supply they were built for yet the Corsair braided cables Jonny told Gordan mah were a nice added feature for platinum power supplies are better quality. From materials to assembly, better. That's pretty disappointing.

Mine idles in the low 30s

2080ti spec is 250w, my FTW3 pulls 378w overclocked. So I asked you before why are you bothering to look at triple 8 pin 30 series cards when you have an sf750. A triple 8 pin 30 series could pull up to 525w round about, so you have less than 225w for the rest of the system. I'll tell you my OC'd 10850k and 2080ti pulls 768w from the wall and outputs 700w-710w. So looking at triple 8 pin cards is a waste of time because 750w is not enough. Silverstone has an 800w which still isn't enough. They are supposed to have a 1000w SFXl power supply available but so far nothing.

Terrible deal. Get a used EVGA 2080ti with lots of warranty remaining, it's no hassles transferable.

I would return it solely on the basis that it's not from EVGA. I hate to dick ride EVGA, but... They have continually shown me with the build quality from their entry level black series, all the way up to the top tier FTW3 models and the fucking fantastic warranty and custom service that they far and away the best brand for graphics cards. Asus is probably a respectable 2nd, and maybe 1st for motherboards. Zotac I thought was good until recently, maybe it's only their amp extreme cards that are good. Gigabyte from my last experience 3 weeks ago is trash imo. Will never buy another gigabyte product. MSI used to be my go to for graphics cards, 980ti was fantastic. Not sure anymore, no experience. Motherboard however are trash imo, last 4 I've used have been an iasue. My 2 cents.... probably worth much less lol

Late model Mopars are $2000-$3000 for a tune. Ecu must be hard modded to even use a tuner, plus the cost of the tuner and a tune.

We had a good run lol. Looking at replacements, the usual suspect. EVGA, Corsair or another seasonic. An 850 enough but I may just grab a 1000, systems seems thirsty.

My seasonic x850, she's not long for this life.. lol it seems to have not taken the transplant of a 10850k and 2080ti FTW3 both overclocked well. Suddenly yesterday had a system shutdown while gaming, and again today, and I made it do it twice more by running furmark.
