  8. I tried running WSUS Offline Update manually, and it did not seem to help. I think i am going to acquire an ISO for windows 7 home premium, build a boot usb, and try a fresh install of windows with the key i have.
  9. Yes, date and time are correct, i made sure to update the date and time in the bios during the first boot. I will give that a shot when i get home, Thanks

  11. Good morning everyone, i am hoping some one can point me in the right direction. Yesterday, i built a brand new system for my gf. After completing the build, installing windows 7 home premium 64 bit, installing the latest drivers from the manufactures websites, i began to have windows check for updates. I let the machine run for a few hours and came back to find that windows still hadn't located any updates. I tried to close the control panel window, however it did not respond. I then closed it through the task manager. Restarted the system , began the process again and let it run over night. Hoping to see some progress this morning, but was met with the same result. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
