  1. Thanks man, will do. I did run heaven, and I got about 1300, so it is pretty accurate. I'm on a 1080p monitor, so it's about right. I'm already looking into a 4790k, I just have to stack up some cash, or find a good deal.
  2. OP here again, here are the readings. You can guess at which points I'm playing the game at.
  3. OP here, currently running the tests on war thunder. My account is having trouble connecting with my computer, so I can't screen shot, but I can do my best to take good screen pictures. expect them shortly.
  4. Is this a pitch for Nvidia, or is there some form of feasible solution resolving the problem with y My current hardware?
  5. Thanks man. To be honest, I'm just frustrated with the performance. I payed my money, and it isn't delivering.ill try the over clocking, and I'll start doing some research. I haven't had any trouble with my AMD CPUs at all, and it truly is baffling that a slight cpu downgrade could destroy performance like that. ESPECIALLY since other people using almost my exact setup, worse actually, is blowing my rig out of the water. Here's the link to the vid: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=npag9Ub1OPg But I will likely end up getting an Intel cpu. I'll post those pics around 2:30 eastern time. Classes end at 1, so I'll do my best to get them here soon. Thanks again, I really appreciate the help.
  6. OP here: follow the thread, and I'll make some posts a little later with pictures of my systems reading after some war thunder tests. ALSO: now I need advice. Would it be better to scrap this build? I can make money back on some parts, and I could keep the basic parts to cut down on costs (case, cooler, ram, storage). If so, where should I go for good part deals and what direction should I take it?
  7. It doesn't, that's why I got the 8350. I'm very surprised, I know the CPUs aren't as good as Intel, but are they really that bad? If so, that still doesn't explain the ultra severe loss. I will definitely post that picture as soon as I get out of class. It was also extremely odd that replacing the parts didn't help. Would it be better to just scrap this build and redo it? I don't have much cash, but I figure I could make a little back on parts.
  8. I have, and the problem stayed. And yes, I never changed the settings either, I have always been on max.
  9. I've done some board research it everything is very vague, do you know anything about the 970 gaming? This would be a perfectly logical explanation, however, even after I have replaced my newer parts with my older parts, the problem persisted. Leading me to believe it's either software or a part compatibility issue?
  10. I have heard that before. But like I said, it was playing great on my older build, no problems. Even after testing it with the older parts, it wasn't working. I have seen multiple videos of an R9 390 with an 8350 benchmarking on war thunder, and crushing the FPS, with 100+ every time.
  11. I had a slight feeling it was something to do with the mobo, but I'm getting sub 30C In CPUID on my cpu, the cooler is very good for the processor. But I will check that. Should that be the problem, is there anything I can do to remedy this?
  12. Yes, or at least I'm 99.99% sure anyway. And I'm fairly sure it's not the problem, but it could help. I've made sure it's recognizing my card in MSI afterburner.
  13. That's not the first time I've heard that. But it was fine using that cpu before, and a very slight downgrade doesn't warrant such a performance loss.
