  1. [Repost] So have had this issue for the last year with my PC where it will just randomly lose power for no reason at all. Was hoping someone would have an idea as to what it could be. It is a random power loss that causes pc to lose power. CPU - Intel Core i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz Graphics Card - RTX 2080 Ti Motherboard - MSI Z170A GAMING M7 Operating System - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit RAM - Kingston HyperX Fury 32GB (DDR4)PSU - Corsair RMX Series RM1000X ATX Power Supply Components replaced so far: Graphics card - was a 980ti (Crashes still occurred, now replaced with a 2080ti) RAM - Have completed memtest64 on all ram, tested each slot separately with single 8gb stick only - crashes still occur OS - Completely reinstalled - still crashes CPU - Reseated All temps are fine when crashes occur, no upvoltages seen either for both CPU and GPU Can occur at any point (idle, chrome, gaming, BIOS) (occur more during gaming though) Not able to be reproduced with AIDA64 stress test NO BSOD or screen freeze or audio freeze, doesn't generate a crash report Have changed kettle lead - have tried though surge-protected extension lead and direct into mains Power within the house seems fine and consistent elsewhere, have only had this issue with this specific PC. When PC loses power, PC automatically turns back on without having to do anything, booting to the logon screen MOBO has no power when crash occurs Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. The PC completely loses power, IE: no power going to the motherboard. Screens go black, then after a couple of seconds, the PC automatically turns back on without having to do anything, booting to the logon screen. I live in the UK, mains power in the area is good but I do live in an old building. Although on some occasions the PC will not turn back on for about a minute and pressing the power button will do nothing and there is no power going through the motherboard as there are no lights active on it, then after a minute it will turn itself back on. But there are no issues with power going to any other device within the property and I have plugged the pc into different outlets in my room and it still crashes. There is no power loss on the same sockets to other devices when tried (TV, PS4, Digital clock, etc), Making me think its a PC issue not an outlet issue. My current idea is that its a faulty PSU but wanted to know what others thought.

  4. Problem:My entire PC lags when opening a program, My mouse stutters and so does my audio. This is only a problem I have had on this PC, I did not have this issue previously on another computer so I know its not suppose to happen. Specific Example: Upon launching CS:GO my mouse and pc will start to lag and stutter same with any music im listening to in the background, same with my audio output (microphone) on skype with friends. PC is good (i7-6700k,980Ti, ect....). Any Ideas, all help appreciated
  5. I have uninstalled and re-installed my drivers, this time installing an older driver from nvidia, this appears to have fixed the problem. Lower FPS than pre-update but still acceptable compared to the 40fps I was on. Thanks for help guys.
  6. Hi, so I have an i7-6700k / GTX980Ti / MSI Z170A Gaming M7 / HyperX Fury 16GB. IE: I do not have a bad PC, now usually I would get 120 fps on H1Z1, now I am getting a max of 40 (Just an example game, have tested on hitman, csgo and overwatch with same low fps results), this has only occured after a pc restart in which windows conducted some updates (specific updates in screenshots). I have conducted various fixes suggest by others IE: disable xbox dvr, go over nvidia global, 3d settings tab. But no fixes appear to work. Any ideas ? All help appreciated. Imgur includes screenshots of the specific updates installed, CPU-Z (with h1z1 open) , Task Manager (with h1z1 open) and Hardware Monitor (with h1z1 open). http://imgur.com/a/dBid6
  7. The reason for this post is because I believe the colour stated by the manufacturer to be false, so was asking peoples opinions...
  8. Hello, in the screenshot below, how would you best describe the colour of the case. Thanks

  11. So the RAM on my Asus X99-A Motherboard is only willing to detect 3/4 sticks. Yes, I have checked its not my RAM , yes I have conducted a MEMtest. Yes I have tried replacing the RAM. This appears to be a common problem and I was wondering if there have been any updates. It occasionally detects all sticks and runs at 16gb, but then crashes and fails to load for about 4-7 boots each time this occurs. I have also performed a bios update which temporarily works but then just crashes and fails to detect the sticks again. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
