  1. I think the 3090 Ti and 3090 (except the Zotac Trinity) is a bit overpriced in my country. What do you think? Which of those 3 would you choose? 3080 Ti Asus Strix 1315$ 3090 Asus Strix 1536$ 3090 Ti Gaming X TRIO 1812$ (cheapest known brand 3090 Ti). Do the Asus Strix or Gaming X have passive fan mode?
  2. Wich of this 5 card is the best deal in your opinion? Those are the prices aviable in my country. I would like to play through all the top games out there and future games at 3440x14400 or 4K resolution on ultra settings with min. 60 FPS. I have the money to buy any of this cards but I like to make sure I get what I pay (for example good quality, performance boost). Asus RTX 3080 Ti ROG Strix LC OC - 1315$* Asus RTX 3080 Ti TUF Gaming OC - 1266$ Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti Gaming OC - 1155$ MSI RTX 3080 Ti Gaming X Trio - 1266$ *Personal Favorite. The most important things for me are: Quiet Fans + Passive Mode OC Capabitilites Performance in games Build Quality Looks There is also a RTX 3090 Zotac Trinity for 1291$ but as far as I read a 3080 Ti Strix should be the better choice here. Then there is an RTX 3080 Asus Strix 10 GB for 1024$.
  3. @Darkseth and @Commodus Thank you very much for your time and help Battery is not a concern because it will be plugged most of the time. My main concern is however the reflections on the 4K monitor. Do you think they improved the screen coating in the XPS 15 9500 compared to the previous versions?
  4. I have read dozens posts about 4K vs FHD XPS 15 but the opinions are divided - half of the users prefer the FHD version, the other half the 4K version. I will use the laptopt mostly for office work - Excel, Word, Evernote, browsing the web and a bit YouTube - mostly work involing reading text. For this workload would you reccomend the 4K or the FHD version? Why? The price is not important. Also the laptopt will be used mainly indoor in a moderate sun illuminated room.
  5. Thanks guys! So after I connect back my old drives can I just delete the Windows and Program Files Folder to free up space?
  6. I will be reinstalling my Windows 10 on a new SSD. Do I have to first format the old one or can I install the Windows and use the registration key on the new SSD, then connet the old SSD with the old windows and just delete the Windows Folder and keep my user files? Or should I move my user files (100 GB+) to a third drive, then format my old SSD and install the system on my new SSD? Will the Windows installed on my old SSD interfere with the windows I install on my new SSD if I choose boot order correctly?
  7. There are no benefits though, except more features that I will not use. Or am I wrong?
  8. After few hours of research I can tell you, that If you are looking for the best B550 motherboard under 200$ choose one of these: Gigabyte Aorus Elite V2 Asus TUF Gaming Plus MSI MAG Tomahawk The Gigabyte and Asus ones have the best OC capabilities in various test. I do not consider the X570 chipsets because they are more expensive, have a chipset fan and mainly make sense if you use more than 1 NVMe PCIE Gen 4 SSDs. Which of these 3 models looks the best in your opinion?
  9. I'm not sure what features I am looking for as I don't know what features are available. I will for sure OC my CPU and GPU. I honestly also prefer quit builds (the X570 have cooling fans). What other features are there? As for models I read that Asus TUF Gaming Plus and MSI Tomahawk are the way to go.
  10. I read some articles but can not decide if the B550 is better than the X570. The prices are very close. Which would you choose? I want to spend between 150$ and 350$.
  11. In that case what B550 should I choose? I will only use 1 GPU, 2 M.2 SSD and 3 SATA SSD.
  12. I have the same question. I will do OC to my 5900x. Would you choose the MSI 570 Tomahawk or the Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus. I read the second one is one of the best choices for 5900x.
  13. If choosing between Ryzen 7 5800X for 733$ and Ryzen 9 5900X for 55$ more would you still go for 5800X or upgrade to 5900X?
  14. I made a list of all the tasks I do in front of my PC. Can you please help me choose the best CPU to make my work and game as smooth as possible? I do not have a budget limit but i like to pay a fair price for what I get. I consider the following CPUs: Ryzen 9 5900X (available for 788$) Ryzen 7 5800X (available for 733$) Ryzen 9 3950X (available for 855$) Intel i9-10900K (availablefor 652$) At the moment I run the i7-3770K OC to 4,8 Ghz, GTX 1080 ti, 3 Samsung SSD, DDR3 RAM. I am planning to upgrade my CPU, MOBO, RAM, m2 and cooling. In the future I will also upgrade my GPU. I heard the 10900K is best for OC, is this true (I will do OC)? Constantly: Google Chrome (heavy sites that use satelite images, maps, video). Moving around the computer (folders, loading photos etc.) Excel (big, slow files) PDFs reading (big, slow files) Everyday: Photoshop Games: Apex Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, GTA V, Forza Horizon 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Witcher 3, Control, Death Stranding, World of Warcraft. Future plans: Virutal Reality (games etc.) - Often OCR of books - Rarely Virtual machines - Rarely Red - Most important for me
  15. What do you guys think about the 10900K, it is the cheapest, available in stores and as far as benchmarks the same as others.
  16. The thing is I need the full power now (work related). Would youn still choose the 5800X for 734$ or is another option more value for the money?
  17. I am upgrading my i7-3770K CPU and looking for the best price/value choice in my country. I do not know the prices in other countries so it is hard for me to decide which are overpriced and what to choose. Intel i9-10900K (652$) - Available in stores Ryzen 7 5900X (843$) - Available from resselers, not available in stores Ryzen 9 5800X (734$) Available from resselers, not available in stores Ryzen 9 3950X (815$) - Available in stores My main reasone why I upgrade is to make the work as smooth as possible (no lags, long pdf/excel/photoshop loading etc.) and to play games. I can spend as much money as nessesary, but I do not want to throw money out of the windows if It only benefits me very little in comparison to a cheaper part (for example the slight fps boost of the RTX 3090 is not worth the money difference between the RTX 3080 for me). I work mostly from my PC using variouse websites with terrain/satelites, big Excel spreedsheets, Google Maps, Google Earth, Maps, big PDF files, Photoshop (big files). I also use virtual machines. I run a 3 monitor setup with two 2560x1440 and one 3440x1440 100hz monitor.
  18. Ok, I will read about the 5800X vs i9-10900K. I see the 5800X has 8 cores and Intel 10. Are the 10 cores not better for work in several program at one time?
  19. Hello. I am from Poland. I am looking to upgrade my PC to make my work feel smoother and to play Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra at at least 60 FPS @3440x1440. I am an Real estate developer and work mostly from my PC using variouse websites with terrain/satelites, big Excel spreedsheets, Google Maps, Google Earth, Maps, big PDF files, Photoshop (big files). I also use virtual machines. I run a 3 monitor setup with two 2560x1440 and one 3440x1440 100hz monitor. My main goal is to make the work as smooth as possible (no lags, long pdf/excel/photoshop loading etc.) and to play games. GPU upgrade options that I consider (GTX 1080Ti OC atm): RTX 3080: Gaming X Trio or Asus ROG Strix CPU upgrade options that I consider (i7-3770K OC atm): i9-10900K - I read this is the best one. I only had Intel CPU's all my life. Will it benefit to the work mentioned? i7-10700K Ryzen 9 3900X Ryzen 7 3700X Motherboard upgrade options that I consider (MSI Z77 MPower atm) : No idea, anything from the rankings that looks good for my build? RAM upgrade options that I consider. I have no idea how I should choose RAM, do I go with looks or are there any major differences in this sticks. I also consider 64 vs 32 GB (DDR3 RAM atm): Corsair Vengeance LPX Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Corsair Dominator Platinum RG HyperX Fury RGB TEAM XTREEM ARGB G.Skill Trident Z Neo SSD upgrade options that I consider: Newest Samsung m2? I have a Corsair RM 650x PSU, will it be enough? Thank you very much for your time and help
  20. I have a fast Samsung SSD and before when I was searching for a file it appread immediately, even while typing. Now I have to wait 0,5-1s before the results show up. Is there something I can do except a format? Video exmaple of Index.xlsx file: https://i.gyazo.com/6f605de5661b5256096fe27da5009535.mp4
