Is really depend on what are you using it for.

Streaming TV/youtube, word doc, etc should be fine.
Gaming, solving world hunger, detecting ET, etc probably not

Until they come up with usb-d that support 2x the wattage, i.e. 200W. there will be no usb-c gaming laptop.

Aero 15x with LM drops 10 to 15C depending on the condition. People on the notebook review forum said that the heatsink/pipe is the limiting factor so Grizzly Kryonaut is good enough.

@GeneXiS_X How about the Origin Evo15-S?

TLCH723 got a reaction from genexis_x in Zephyrus M vs Razer Blade
People mostly complain about keyboard, backlight bleed, and driver/software issues. I dont have keyboard and blacklight bleed. I rarely have driver/software issues, probably like once a month or so. Similar to what my desktop. The issue I have is RAM incompatibility. It is picky on the RAM.
Tbh, I think people who complain make up like 80% of the forum/review. If you want worry about the issues, ask your friend to check keyboard and backlight bleed before leaving.

TLCH723 got a reaction from Matsodon in Do you need to run my eGPU too an external screen?
You can think of this way. If you are using the internal display with eGPU, then you basically have one road going in and out of your computer to/from the eGPU. If you are using the external display with eGPU, then that same road only have outbound traffic. Of course is more complicated then this but this is the easiest way to view this.

XPS 15 once it throttled, it will stay throttle until restart. To avoid this, you need to uninstall Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework from the driver manager and prevent it to be reinstall via windows update

TLCH723 got a reaction from genexis_x in Aero 15X vs GS65 Stealth Thin
Aero 15x - much easier upgrade, better battery, better construction
May have keyboard problems, backlight bleed. I dont have that in mine.
    Picky about the RAM

GS65 - backward motherboard, worse battery, plasticy construction

    Both need LM and undervolt

There is no way you can get all of it at around 1000USD.

    32GB of RAM ~300USD
    1TB SSD NVME ~300USD
    That is already 600USD.
