it wasnt straight instructions just an idea of how it can be done. sure the cpu cooler is 10x the weight but the mobo is also bigger than the GPU PCB, and has a backplate .

why do you need to take classes to learn? I have never taken a single course(paid course) for IT. I am a IT Director for a large HVAC company, and the only one in the department. I just started with a small old lga775 server box and installed linux started with a LAMP stack, once I got that down jsut said that would be cool to have and pretty much you can find a tutorial on anything. if that fails come to the forums it has been a great help since I joined only like a couple months. A virtual machine is something to consider as well it allows you to basically have any other machine without needing the physical hardware. you could make an entire enviroment that would be in a small company on a single computer. VM's are really the bees-knees I am only 27 yrs.old , been in the industry for about 2 yrs. only been really learning server sdmin stuff for about 4 yrs. and now have a salary paid job., THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN STOP YOU IS YOURSELF.

yea absolutely , ill even put an OS on it for you if you want before I ship, even if you have questions about other stuff, Ill do my best to answer them , messing around with servers is super fun, when its not work related -> this usually means something is wrong lol and no servers = no money for company

short answer is prolly yes. it really depends but if you try something like this ... you really just want to make sure that its seated well and making good contact.

no problem. Yea i totally agree if you want some dual CPUs stuff make it easier check this out , it will be easier if you were in the US to ship but the advantage is that most have ram but you might not be able to get multiple graphics cards in the machines

if it was me , Id disconnect all drives , plug in the "infected" drive boot from usb with Dariks on it wipe the disk turn off PC then reconnect all drives and you should be good. although its possible the virus wont spread to other drives I would not risk it.

hmmm it will be hard to get rid of anything in the drive unless you have some computer you can use. BUt if you have some old computer you can use you can use dariks boot and nuke http://www.dban.org/ you just create a usb bootable , boot from it then you can "nuke" the drive, should rid of anything on there You can use your current system and if you did, I would remove any other drives in your system, to avoid deleteing any other disk.

does it freeze when you do anything GPU intensive? are you monitoring your CPU temps. I know that 212 evo is a bitch to put on make sure your CPU is not overheating. would make sense casue you say you leave it off for a while(giving the CPU to naturally cool down ) then it will work till heats up shut off and repeat.
