Remember kiddos those cores aren't hyperthreaded. Also no boosting along with the fact that even if single core performance is better, more and more applications are multithreaded these days so we're going to have to see.

#1 its not google itself
#2 i think this should be a thing, but not after a 1 time offense, like if you have an outstanding bill your phone gets locked

piemadd reacted to BuckGup in Apple gets weird and gives Roku exclusive integration with iOS and Mac
Airplay was open sourced a while ago and I have a somewhat old Vivio with airplay on it. I am very suspicious of this as roku TVs were found to be storing SSID names, passwords, and information about other devices on the network.

Now... does this move also translate to TCL's partnership with Roku? Will we be seeing TCL TVs that support AirPlay, etc.? That could be interesting.

And so he should have looking at the comment you posted. Your comment towards him on twitter was rude and unnecessary. Do not behave this way. Don't go taunting people on Twitter because of some silly youtuber drama.

No, it definitely shouldn’t. You can’t just make a blanket statement like that, it should be a case by case discussion, not how long the copyrighted material you used is compared to how long your video is. You still need to make a compelling case that your use of the material falls under fair use.

piemadd got a reaction from Benjamin22044 in What new 5G Phone should I buy for 450ish USD?
Hello everyone, I'm planning on upgrading my phone soon due to the fact that my current phone has water damage and restarts randomly due to that. Below are a few things I'm looking for, and a few musts. Any recommendations appreciated! (Note: I do not care how much spyware said phone may come with, I will be reflashing anyways.) I was looking at the honor 30s 5g, but I'm open to recommendations.
Connectivity: 5G functionality is a must, and must be compatible with TMobile/Sprint
Snapdragon 765g, an equivalent, or something faster with 5g
Storage: 64gb with expandability or 128gb with no expansion
ram: 6gb preferred, 4gb ok
screen, at least 1080p
cameras: 4k30fps, the more sensors the better
Please ask any questions you may have! Thanks!

@Donut417 @huilun02 Thank you all for your responses.
I'm currently on Sprint, and though i've heard it will stay separate-ish for a little while, that it won't last long. I went through eBay and ended up buying the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, as OnePlus confirms it works on sprint, and that it will work on T-Mobile, which makes me happy that I won't have to buy another phone within a few months.
Though the current OnePlus Nord wouldn't work well in the US, they do plan on bringing it to the US later with a snapdragon 690 chipset and lower specs overall.
As far as bands go, heres what i found:
- 5G: Both support 41, all good!
- LTE: All bands on both carriers supported except for band 71 (extended range band)
- 3G/2G: Kind of hard to find details, but since Sprint, TMobile, and OnePlus are saying the phones will work with LTE and below, I believe this applies as well.

Got it for around 400USD on eBay. It was used, but not much. not a single scratch or dent in sight. Works great!

piemadd reacted to Godlygamer23 in I am confused, What does a Computer Engineer do?
Based on what I've been reading, computer engineers also design a lot of the components involved in computers. Probably depends on the actual job that one is applying for.

piemadd reacted to 7412 in Pocophone F2
The Redmi Note 8 is the real contender for the pocophone F1.
The K30 Pro is more of a cheaper OnePlus 7 Pro. 0 notch, small bezels, latest chip, super cheap. The only thing missing is the high refresh rate screen, but who cares. The 4700 mAh battery makes up for that.
If I were a touchscreen guy, I'd buy the K30 Pro. Sadly, I can't stand typing on screen, and so I'll stick with my BlackBerry Key2.
