Hashes are one-directional. You can't store data in a hash, its impossible. The only thing stored as a 256 bit hash would be your password and then also your ssl connection to their servers. 
The data was split between many many computers (in all somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-100 people helped download data) which allowed them to download everything at the speed they did. It wasn't a single internet connection, but many. Hell, a single gigabit connection would be able to do the job in less than 5 days. I don't doubt multiple gigabit connections were doing the work.  

The MC launcher comes bundled with it, thats all.

they optimize that cpu for their os and programs so a lot of it is just optimization. I dont care how fast macs get I will never use a closed system that reeks of apple drm. eventfully desktops will move on and maybe do arm or something else, and as long as it has backwards compatibility with old instruction sets im all for it. 

except the user - like you - will complain to the company once you're 'hacked', meaning the requirements they set for making a password help both you and themselves too, through having less silly customer service tickets.
 
I thought this thread would be the other way around. websites having 'maximum' requirements on passwords.
for example, a website I recently made an account for has a max character limit on passwords of 20. wut?? that's quite short.
that is not even the worst though they also don't allow for many special characters, but do not mention this! they only - on the next step - mention "there is something wrong". I had to find some forum post, where someone mentioned illegal characters in a password.
 
that makes it even worse. first they have a low character limit and then you can't even make your password complicated and are basically restricted to:
- lower case letters
- upper case letters
- numbers
- couple special character (?,!, - and _ if I recall correctly)

Yeah I was going to do that til I remembered the 5GHz wifi drops off in my room and 2.4 wouldn't cut it. The USB forum introduced a lot of confusion within the tech communites with the introduction of USB 3.1 and 3.2
Here's the thing tho, 5Gb/s is the bare minimum of any USB 3 standard, so you shouldn't worry.
 
The longer answer involves the USB specification changes in recent months and years. We went from USB 3.0, 3.1 to USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 and then got rid of all USB 3.1 specification and are officially now at USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. This is so ridiculous, that I added all the necessary specs into my signature.
 
Now depending on when the product information was last updated, USB 3.1 Gen 1 either means 5Gbps or 10Gbps. Either way, you'll be fine, as only 5Gbps are required, which even the most basic USB 3.0 cable from 5 years ago can carry. Important to note is the length tho. Longer lengths can lead to signal loss, so a high quality cable is always advantageous.

05Gb/s - USB 3.2 Gen 1 (was known as USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 before)

What Parler was actually like overall is irrelevant. What matters is was there visible content of the types cited against which parler was taking no moderation action? If so then thats all the reason that Apple, Google, and Amazon need to stop supporting it. Doesn't matter if it was a few crazies only, it's still all the reason they need to take action.

Oof is really all i can say here. All I can assume now is that there will be people who will match driver's licenses with geolocation data of images to forward any criminal activity onto the FBI and/or local law enforcement.

Beyond the privacy implications, we really don't know what will happen to those whose data is leaked. There is no doubt that a database of compiled data will be up for sale on the dark web within weeks, or even days for that matter.

 
One final thing we can see here is that no data has ever been deleted from Parler, on top of their lax security. This is one of the reasons why the leakers could access so much information, even if it was deleted.
 
My thoughts
To put it simply, I am disappointed. I was not a user of Parler, but I do have to say if you market your platform towards a growing group of people not satisfied with their current social media options for one reason or another, you should do your best to make sure the security of your users is protected as much as possible. Who knows what will happen with the data, but we can for sure know that it is going to spread like wildfire.

While lawyers will try to make arguments, the basic answers are, to the Russian, yes they can, to StDragon doesn't (likely) apply.
 
Law enforncement can't employ illegal means to get information. They can't comission, or deputize, or even asking can disqualify.....this was private citizens gathering information on their own behest, not on the behest of a L.E.O.  In legal terms, the "taint was purged"

Yep, i hate wordpress so much. Most things you would use wordpress for can be done better and more securely through something like wix, weebly, etc.

Then they might do something like use security camera footage in the [unnamed building] and also publicly available info from parlor (ie a selfie taken by a proposed defendant for [doing something in] the [unnamed building]) to gather enough evidence to get a case. Will the parlor leak be presented in court? probably not. will it be used in investigations? i dont doubt it
