  1. About a week ago I noticed stuttering in games that I play. When I checked my cpu and gpu temps were 50-55 degrees while completely idle. In games like bf4 and Crisis 2, I was getting 70-75 degrees. All of the fans on the case, power supply, gpu, and cpu are working perfectly fine. And yes, I checked, the cpu cooler is on firm as could be and I even removed it and reinstalled it. I thought maybe since my pc is below my desk, it might have something to do with that. But once I brought it downstairs and onto a wooden table, nothing changed. Specs: MSI R9 380 4gb AMD FX-6300 (stock cooler) ASROCK 980DE3/USS3 Corsair Spec-03 (case)
  2. My current PC has a standard ethernet adapter that plugs into the wall and gets noticeably slower speeds that my brothers Xbox. His xbox is plugged directly into the router while mine is on the other side of the room. He gets upwards of 8mbps whereas i get 2mbps tops. The house we are in is an older house so that may have something to do with it. I want to know if a better adapter or other solution would be better. Thanks in advance
  3. Every time I boot windows my screen flickers white, then becomes incredibly laggy until it crashes to the login screen. After I enter my password and get to the home screen the same thing happens. This happens until the "Windows basic drivers" kick in and i can see clearly. Once that happens I have the DDU and reinstall drivers to play any games. I assume the AMD drivers just fail to start but i am at a loss as to why. Screenshots are of "Device Manager" and the error notification i get. Ideas and responses are welcome, thanks in advance
  4. Im looking to upgrade my current system and seeing as my system is CPU limited, why not go for an I5. I'm looking for a good processor and motherboard that work well together. Any recommendations helpful. Thanks in advance
  5. All fans other than PSU are completely off
  6. Only thing I can think of is a loose cable, check the CPU fan connection to the motherboard. Hell, maybe disconnecting it and reconnecting it may fix it
  7. When I am playing any game or anything sometimes my GPU randomly "crashes". I say that sarcastically because it simply just stops displaying on my monitor. My monitor even says no input detected. Sometimes after I reboot the PC, all of the fans (other than the Power Supply) are off. I then have to disconnect the GPU's power and reconnect it to get everything working again. PC Specs: Gpu - R9 380 Cpu - AMD Fx6300 Storage - Samsung 850 Evo and WD Blue 1tb Psu - EVGA 750g Help is much appreciated
  8. Thats my point, The monitor has no speakers or audio jacks. Is there any way to get sound without an extra PC nearby to go through?
  9. This is away from my PC or console, this is a standalone monitor and chromecast.
  10. What if the monitor doesn't have an audio port or built in speakers, does that mean no sound?
  11. So I am considering buying a Chromecast, but my monitor does not have a HDMI port. (It is an older monitor) I was wondering if I used a cheap adapter (HDMI to DVI) would I still get the same experience as a actual HDMI input. Thanks in advance
  12. CPU: FX-6300 (non OC'd) GPU: R9 380 PSU: Some coolmax one. sorry i dont know the name
  13. So this is a tricky one, every once in a while my system will shut off. Not just windows entering the shutdown mode and waiting a while to completely shut down, I mean total shutdown in a second. I couldn't figure out how this was happening and i thought it happened once my CPU maxed out its performance because it only happens when in game. Help is much appreciated, thanks in advance
