  2. i currently have GA-N3050M-D3P which is a SoC and tdp is 4-6w
  3. okey, then, i think that can me a solution. how about the nas build? and one of my friend told me to wait for 7th gen. will it be worth the wait?
  4. hey there guy, Finally i saved up enough and think of upgrading everything I am looking to build a NAS box for storage and a gaming/workstation build. and confused between options which i figured out based on my budget. need opinion from you guys, please see the options below and let me know what will be the best choice Option 1: NAS with GA-N3050M-D3P (owned right now) 8gb ddr3 value ram Seagate NAS HDD 4TB x 2 basic casing and 500w psu (owned right now) PC Build with: i7 6700k + z170 board +120gb SSD + 1tb HDD +asus turbo 1060 pc parts picker link- http://pcpartpicker.com/list/2fN2r7 Option 2: Same nas as option 1 PC Build with: i5 6500 + h170 board +120gb SSD + 1tb HDD +asus strix 1080 pc parts picker link- http://pcpartpicker.com/list/mz2Br7 Option 3: Nas with- GA-B150M-HD3 intel pentium g4400 8GB DDR4 memory Seagate NAS HDD 4TB x 2 basic casing and 500w psu (owned right now) PC Build with: i5 6500 + h170 board +120gb SSD + 1tb HDD +asus turbo 1060 there is a 4th option which is ASUS N552VW-6700HQ with the nas of 3rd option. Pretty much confused about what should i do. i am not a hardcore gamer, i only play dota 2 and very few of my fev title games (witcher 3, mafia 3). i currently have 3tb of work data which needs to be stored somewhere new, so i am thinking of trying out a nas build for the first time. i work with photoshop, illustrator and aptana studio some times and most of my work is web based. looking for a stable build for next few years thanks in advance guys, will really appreciate your opinion.
  5. using a4tech comfort keyboard Tesoro g1nl is on my wishlist for last 3 years :'(
  6. hi there, i am looking to build a low power nas box with 4x3tb drives. i am looking at ASRock Mini ITX DDR3 1066 NA Motherboard N3700-ITX Will be useing freeNAS and that mobo+quadcore cpu combo is cheap but dose not supports ECC. my goal is to make it as much as power efficient under $200 for Motherboard+CPU+RAM I have rest of the hardware. please advise me on the motherboard that i picked. if you guys have any better suggestion feel free to let me know Thanks in advance
  7. i got my hands on a ASUS Z8NA-D12 board recently with 2 xeon CPU's at a bargain price ($200 for mobo+2x xeon L5640) what i plan to do is make a 30gig/40gig ram disk where i can work with ps/ae/ai and stuffs like that. so it is safe to buy those rams and use them in any other motherboard?
  8. hey there, i was doing my nas build, and as free nas suggest i went to look for ECC memory and found 8x8gb for 120$ USD But, since i have zero work experience with ECC memory, one thing was bugging me before ordering the kits. The product i want to order says "for HP DELL IBM", my question is, will it work on other boards/platforms? here is a link for the product- http://www.ebay.com/itm/64GB-16x4GB-PC3-10600R-DDR3-1333MHz-ECC-Reg-HP-IBM-DELL-/131734841299?hash=item1eac0227d3:g:DmMAAOSwuAVWzC8G
  9. Hi there all, i was recently looking into cache servers and found the name "pfsense" and willing to learn more bout it. I need to set it up for my small business (small gaming cafe). What i am looking for is a PC runnning as a server with addon Lan cards. I have 3 different isp connetion. What i want the server to do is merge all 3 connection and output to different lan port which will then connect to router and all the pc's. And i also want that server to work as cache, and what i want the cache to do is store any new game update and provide it to all my gaming pc's. Its a pain in the ass when i see a 500 meg'ish update for dota 2 or CS:GO and i have to manually update all of my 16 cafe pc over a 10megabit connection So if anyone have any hands on experience or project similar to what i need, please feel free to help me TIA
  10. hey man, thats alot of work you done for me there, really appreciate it the orginal budget was 30k so its cool i guess it will run dota 2 smoothly along with other old title games? and maybe few recent games in mid/low settings? as you were researching for me, i paid a visit to a shop, they have g3258 for tk. 5400, i can definitely get a thermaltake lite power 450w for 3k so budget will be adjusted. what do you say? g3258 a better option for 1k additional price?
  11. here are some shitty sites- https://www.ryanscomputers.com/ http://ucc-bd.com/ http://globalbrand.com.bd/ for the price reference every 1000 is 12.5 USD, so if you see something price tagged 4000 then its 50$ USD
  12. thats a good build i guess, can it handle dota 2 in smooth playable condition with that apu? and that board isnt available here so how is this for an option- "MSI AMD A68HM GRENADE FM2+"
  13. located at Bangladesh, pc part picker is just for a reference most of the parts i picked matches the price over here. everything is almost 25% expensive at here ------ @I am an SSD i told him, but he wants to buy new. he has this phobia type of thing, he dosent likes to purchase used stuffs
  14. he has a 1366 x 768 monitor, and wants to play some old titles and dota 2. i see 860k is fm2. not familiar with that, and its not available in our country
