You won't be able to use the 4 pin connectors for your graphics crad, since those are meant for your cpu.
Those two large 4 slot connectors on the bottom photo are molex ports, you could buy a molex to 6 pin adapter, though I'd like to know what psu and cpu you have to make sure the system has enough wattage.

Honestly, stick with it. This seems more like a down or sidegrade than an actual upgrade.

Sadly yes, main reason I haven't gotten an Apple product since.

You can't really compare the two cards, because they're from different generations. COmparing stats on a video card really only works with the same-gen cards.

Since you live in the netherlands you could have looked on tweakers, though I've found a 4670k here: https://tweakers.net/aanbod/1104171/intel-core-i5-4670k-boxed.html

Depends, what  are you running now? I'd say if it's an i5/i7 from the 3000 series and onwards you'll probably be fine unless you have a really low end one

Honestly upgrading should mostly only be done if necessary, it's better to upgrade later and be amazed at the large framerate increase. I'm still running a 770, and on 1080p all those game would run fine so the 970 will easily handle it.
