  1. If I win I'd make a cracking gaming PC completely tricked out with watercooling, titans all SSD based and a multi display and to give back to the world set it up to do some folding while I'm not throwing my time at university down the drain
  2. So made a new repair disk, but came up with these as the error
  3. Here's the CBS log I got from running: sfc /scannow https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byaz7bTJxi4HV0JtRjhNbmI5bmc/edit?usp=sharing Had to use google drive since it wouldnt let me attach it normally. Cant really make sense of the log at all.
  4. Skew? Alright I'll try that and give it a go. I installed it off a USB, tried to use that to repair it but wouldn't work.
  5. Woops... cheers for pointing that out
  6. Hey everyone, Recently reinstalled Windows 7 on my computer to clear it out, now every time I turn it off when it turns back on I get the 0x000000xe error. To get around this every single time I have to remove the SATA cables from my SSD (Windows) and HDD (Storage), turn it on and let it boot to the shell (think thats what its called, cant remember off the top of my head), then turn off plug the cables in and reboot again and it somehow works fine. My specs are: 4670k, MSI G45 mobo, 8gb vengeance ram, Samsung 128 gb SSD, 1tb HDD (stolen off my laptop when I got an SSD for that). Any ideas on a fix? It says use windows recovery disk but whenever I do it says "Not compatible with this version of windows" Cheers Edit: Had 4600k instead of 4670k
  7. Alright guys managed to fix it, had to remove both SSD and HDD which somehow reset the keyboard into working. Managed to get into the bios and boot off a USB and repair windows.
  8. Hi guys I'm trying to get into my bios to sort out my boot order to fix another problem (at the same time I've been hit with a 0xc000000e error message: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.) but I can't get into the bios due to the keyboard not working. The keyboard itself is a standard USB keyboard (Logitech K200). Was working perfectly fine before this but now nothing when I try to boot up, not even seeing any lights when I press num lock or caps lock. I have tested it on my laptop and they keyboard still works perfectly fine on that. Any ideas? System specs: Intel 4670k, MSI G45 mobo, 8 gigs corsair dominator ram, GTX 770, Vertex 4 SSD as OS drive and a 1tb storage drive.
  9. Tried disabling the Intel C states (only option I could find in the BIOS) and upped the voltage to 1.3 volts, but same story all again, tried from 4.5 ghz but keeps on crashing until its back at 4.1 ghz... and how can I find the PLL? Going out now but I'll post that when I get back.
  10. I've been trying to overclock my 4670k on my MSI G45 Gaming motherboard for a few days now (first time trying though), and the highest stable overclock I've managed is 4.1 ghz at 1.25 volts, if I change the ratio any higher as soon as I start prime95 to stress test I just blue screen. My ram is 8 gigs of corsair vengeance at 1600 mhz if that makes any difference. Just thought I'd be able to push the overclocks alot more because from what I've read at 1.2 volts most people can get a stable overclock at 4.4 ghz. Any help would be appreciated :)
