  1. There are holes on the monitor, just not the mount I have. Under the plate if I wiggle one corner out, it looks like it has a spot for the tabs.
  2. This is the mount I have, and the monitor. The panel back there doesnt seem to come off. If it does, its not going to be easy. Not an inlay part to put the mount.
  3. So I have this Monitor - lg model 27ul600, and it has a 100x100 mount on the back. I have a vesa base that has the hooks under it, but no screw holes. Is there some kind of converter, or something that I have never heard of? Like....Female (for the base to attach the the plate), to male (to the plate that would let me put screws into the monitor holes) adapter or something.
  4. Is your display hooked up to the motherboard of the graphics card?
  5. Windows 10 Home does not recognize 2 cpu. you need Windows Pro. Not sure if you are into linux, but I have run linux servers with 2 cpus.
  6. So I have this client that has their home, a barn, and then another barn further away. They are trying to get wifi out in that barn. The home router is on the closest side of the house as to the first barn. Netgear Nighthawk ac1750 The 1st barn is about 150 feet or so from the house router. Netgear 1200 wifi extender near the front door. The second barn is a little further back, but about 300 feet away maybe from the house. Netgear 1200 wifi extender above the horse stall. I went over their originally to get wifi out to the second barn and got it working, but now it will switch back and forward from being connected and not connected. Kinda of a crummy picture, but this is kinda what it looks like. Bottom rectangle is the house, red is the main router. Blue are windows. Rectangle in the middle is the first barn with the first extender. Blue is a window. Partial rectangle on the top is the 2nd barn with the second extender with blue being the horse stall door window. They do not want to dig up the ground and run an ethernet cable. example names. not actual Router SSID : mainwifi-2g , mainwifi-5g 1st extender SSID : mainwifi-2g_ext , mainwifi-5g_ext Connects to the main router via wifi 2nd extender SSID : mainwifi2-g_ext2 , mainwifi-5g_ext2 Connects to 1st extender via wifi
  7. Apple MacBook Pro 15-Inch "Core i7" 2.2 2015 This is the computer I am working on for a friend. I am trying to re-install the OS on it, and I have not had any luck. I have run the command + R keys, and got into recovery mode. When I select the drive I wish to install the new OS on, it looks like it is working, and then after a few minutes of the progress bar moving, it gives me an error every time about not being able to prepare the install. Any help. Please. I don't really know if I am missing something, and I have checked around trying to figure out what to do.
  8. Hello! Not really sure if this would be in Server or Networking, so I thought I would post it here. I currently am using a Raspberry Pi 3 for PiHole in my server rack. I wanted to see what others are using on these devices. Thinking about doing a PlexPi or something similar.
  9. Is there a way to have your scheduled YouTube videos show up on google calendar? Like....Videos are posting 3 days a week, and then I can see a week in advance what videos will be published on those days?
  10. Budget (including currency): up to 150$ US Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Server Rack - 12U Other details : Watchguard Firewall (35W) , Cisco 24 port Switch POE, and small 2U server with piHole running on it currently (25w CPU). Will be adding some cameras to the switch later on (maybe 3 or 4), and adding some surveillance HDD to the server and have a recording bit added to it. So I am starting to make a homelab, and I am looking for a PDU of sorts, that has switches on the front side, and all the cables / plugs on the back side. However, I was hoping to reach out here and see if anyone knows of any PDU, or another method, to have covered switches, so that way I dont accidently bump into them, as this little rack will be in my main office area.
  11. what files formats does K3B use for video files?
  12. The PS4 is actually my brother in laws, so he doesnt live with me. Its more so I could just bring the dvd over when I go visit him, and its more of so I have the physical disk because I want to let my blu-ray player have something to do XD
  13. I will have to try that out when I get home. Thank you. Ill check out both of those when I am able to. Good thing I have dual boot XD I have plex, but it would only make sense in my home environment, so i might set it up for home. But I still would want the DVD/Blu-ray because if I go somewhere for vacation, I would have the physical disks and I would prefer them be copies rather than accidently being broken on the trip.
  14. Does it also work with blu-ray? and does it have chapters inserts / scene selection?
  15. Data to. Sorry about the late reply. I am trying to take my Attack on Titan episodes, MP4 on my harddrive, and then burn them to a DVD / Blu-Ray so that way I can watch them on my TV
  16. I am looking for some burning software for my TV shows, like Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online. Was hoping to find a software that allows chapters, so that way I can either skip between them, or go to a main menu and have a scene selection. That way I can play them on my PS4, or the TV. I tried Wondershare burner, but I kept running into errors, and later found out that it doesn't support Blu-Ray disks. Which I would prefer as I got a bunch of those.
  17. So I am having this weird issue, where I want to make titles, and chapters, but for some reason my wondershare dvd burner does not have it anymore. I might have hit a key combo? or something else? So the images I posted here, that is what mine looks like (with the Dr.Stone episode) and then the other image is showing what mine is missing. Any thoughts?
  18. What would you recommend? As I am planning on going the RX 6000 series when stock and price are available.
  19. Well, after years of having the one I currently have, 21.5inch Acer 75Hz monitor, I think I am ready for a new one! Currently, I am running a GTX 1070, but plan on getting a RX 6700 (when released), RX 6800 / XT (when in stock and reasonably priced). But just 1 Not 3 I wouldn't mind going to 1440p, as right now I have 1080p IPS display. My GTX 1070 does have DP 1.4, and HDMI on it, so ports dont really matter to me much. The RX card I want, does also have DP 1.4, and HDMI 2.0, so not worried about upgrade plans. Whatever the min is for 1440p (I think its 27inch, as I have not see a 24 inch or smaller with that resolution) I kinda was interested in the Amazon.com: GIGABYTE G27QC 27" 165Hz 1440P Curved Gaming Monitor, 2560 x 1440 VA 1500R Display, 1ms (MPRT) Response Time, 92% DCI-P3, HDR Ready, FreeSync Premium, 1x Display Port 1.4: Computers & Accessories but some of the reviews of bad support and backlighting was meh. But most the reviews are good. I do not have experience with BenQ monitors, but I see lots of them with good ratings. Pricewise, I'm not too worried about it? But I would like to keep it under....500$ US Curved isn't a necessity, but would be nice / good feature. I play some fast games like Risk of Rain 2, Valorant, Apex. Not sure if the 1ms of monitors is a winning factor, but I currently have 1ms and it seems fine. I am not really sure about what monitor brands are good, but I am open to all options!
  20. I shall keep that in mind. Thank you Ill see about visiting him soon and trying that out. Thank you
  21. So my friend recently built a computer, and he got the Asus tuf gaming x570-plus (wi-fi) TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) | Motherboards | ASUS USA CPU : Ryzen 3600X GPU : Radeon RX 5700 XT And we installed 4 x 8GB stick of RAM, Corsair 3600Mhz, and when he boots normally, the computer blue screens. When we set the DOCP profile to 2133, it runs fine, and plays games fine. But once we start messing with higher frequencies, the computer just does not want to work right. We have no updated the BIOS at all, so its whatever BIOS is stock. Would updating the BIOS possibly help with memory stability?
  22. I hope this is in the right topic, but anyways. Is there a way to get the Unify Security Gateway on a NanoPi R2S? https://www.amazon.com/FriendlyElec-NanoPi-R2S-Computer-Dual-Gbps/dp/B0869L6S2Q Recently I have seen that you can put the cloud key on a raspberry pi, and was wondering if you would be able to somehow get the USG on NanoPi R2S as it has dual gigabit ethernet ports on board.
