AMD did confirm B450 support but Asus is the one who has to implement it for your board, so check their site when the new processors become available.

Yes, Ryzen 5000 series CPU will still be able to fit your B450 motherboard, however, you need to update your BIOS, and depend on your motherboard manufacturer, the BIOS may not be available until next year January.
 
For me, I have Ryzen 5 3600, a Zen 2 processor, and it serve me well. I don't think I'll be upgrading mine any time soon, but should if I want to go to Ryzen 7, maybe I'll consider Ryzen 7 5800X.

Solved the issue btw, i cleared the cmos and it worked, in case someone with the same issue searches this
