aha, ikr :) thats why i went for it! one downside is it slows down the webpage as it nears completion..... my i3 4gb of ram old laptop hates it xD

  3. My friend just recently got a monitor for his birthday. Today he connected it to the PC, and at first it didn't seem to work. Then when he finally got it working the PC instantly bluescreened after boot. Since that the screen has been working fine, but windows won't boot on his computer. Safe mode worked, so he tried restoring his computer, but the restoration failed. Twice. Some time later windows safe mode woudn't boot at all, but he can enter the UEFI. Any idea what the problem is and how to fix it? Is it a dying hard drive? Need help!
  4. It seems like it has been completely random. Has happened while surfing the web, watching netflix, playing Fallout 4.... I haven't seen any pattern so far
  5. Hi, in the beginning of january i built my first PC. Multiple times it has freezed suddenly and played a buzzing sound through my headphones/speakers (Caused by the infinite playback of the last sound played?). No error message or anything. Hard reboot required. I'm wondering how to find out what the problem is, and how to fix it. Is it a hardware or software problem? I have Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU: i7-6700k RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400Mhz 16GB (2*8GB) Motherboard: Asrock z170 pro4 GPU: Asus strix gtx 960 4GB Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD Corsair Force 3 250GB SSD PSU: FSP Hyper M 600w CPU cooler: Noctua NH-U12s Case: NZXT s340
  6. Well, ehm..... On closer inspection, it seems there are actually no more holes on the case that match up to the motherboard's holes... the far right holes on the mobo are closer to the middle than the holes on the case, so there really seems to be no choice than to use the 6 screws, as you can see in my beautiful illustration: (x=screws, o=screwholes) Case: Mobo: x x o x xo x x o x xo x x o x xo I'm sorry for asking without looking closer, but i was sure the holes would match up. Anyway, thanks for your answers...
  7. Ok, i actually found the case came with one additional standoff, so would it be enough/better mounting it like this? x xo x xx x xo
  8. So i should go buy some standoff screws and mount them in the case? Because there were no other ones included....
  9. Hi, my case came with 6 built-in standoff screws and additional holes for mounting more. My motherboard has 9 holes but there didn't seem to be any other standoff screws included with the case, so i mounted the motherboard like this: x xo x xo x xo Are any other standoff screws required, or is it ok as it is? I do have an aftermarket CPU cooler an a gpu mounted on the board, and as they do add some weight, are the screws required?
