  1. Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by this. Also, that video you posted is about the O11 Dynamic. I have the O11 Air version.. I guess they are mostly the same, but the video also tests the case with only 3 fans.
  2. What would be the best airflow setup with nine 120mm fans and a 280mm radiator(Kraken x62) inside the Lian Li O11 Air? I want to populate all the fan slots just to see how over the top it would be, but with all those mounting possibilities, I'm not sure what the best airflow setup would be. The case can mount: 3x120 / 2x140 top 3x120 / 2x140 front 3x120 bottom 3x120 side 2x80 rear
  3. Thank you! One more question.. what would happen if I connect the PWM hub(with 3 fans) to one Commander Pro fan power slot?
  4. So basically, I daisy chain the RGB connectors between them and connect the last one to the RGB header on my motherboard and each fan's power connector goes into the PWM hub which then connects to a PWM header on the MoBo.. is that right? About the Commander Pro, I wanted to know if I can connect the three Bora fans in a way that I could control the RPM through Corsair's software and the RGB through the motherboard software. If I connect the fans power cables to the Commander Pro and the RGB connectors to the MoBo, would it work?
  5. Hi everyone! I recently bought the new Lian Li O11 Air with the three extra Bora Lite RGB Fans and I can't figure out how to connect them. Each fan has three cables and the package comes with a fan hub and a little schematic. Is there any way I can connect the fans so that I can control the rpm with the Commander Pro, and the RGB with the normal software through my motherboard rbg header?(I know I can't control lighting with the Commander Pro). If not, how would I connect them normally? The three fan pack usually comes with a tiny remote that you can change the LED's with, but for the case version they come with a little fan hub that you connect to the motherboard. My motherboard is the AsRock x370 Taichi, and I want to mount the fans as front intake. I'm a little confused and afraid of installing something incorrectly and accidentally shorting something out.. Here are some photos:
  6. Thanks, I understand it a little better now. Also, as a follow up .. i rebooted, closed all background applications that I didn't need.. checked the temps again with both Hwinfo and Hwmonitor and it still fluctuates between 30 and 40 degrees.. but get this..when I turned ShadowPlay on to record..it stopped at a constant 32C.. and it stayed that way until I stopped recording..then it started going between 30 and 40C again.. it's like my pc is trolling me.. lol. What the hell is wrong here? Please enlighten me.. temp readings shouldn't do this..right? They should be constant and rise steadily .. what could cause this?
  7. You're right, I forgot Chrome and Steam were both running. Will try to do as you said and I'll post my results then. Thanks for putting up with me
  8. Thanks for your input! That's a nice OC and temps.. My room temperature is about 25C..it's not very warm. Also, I have the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe.. with 1 200mm front intake fan.. one 140mm rear exhaust fan.. and I have the Kraken radiator mounted up top, with 2 140mm fans pushing air out.. should be ok, right?
  9. Thank you for your suggestion. That video is with completely stock.. out of the box frequencies and settings. This video is what I got in idle after disabling AMD Cool'n Quiet, enabled Ryzen Power Plan and changed my Kraken x62 settings to Performance Mode. https://streamable.com/2ve5w This is what Hwinfo64 shows https://imgur.com/a/sDwU4 In HWMonitor it shows me the same temps.. but I see a lot of fluctuations in the "Powers" section. Is this normal? Or it has something to do with my power line? https://streamable.com/0r151 Sorry about posting to streamable.. it's easier posting a quick video than trying to explain what is going on. The temperatures seem to have settled down, at around 40 on idle, but they still seem a little high. Is it because I disabled Cool'n Quiet and now they run at full 3.7gHz? I will try to change the thermal paste on the Kraken with some Noctua NT-H1 I have. I installed it with the stock paste, seemed fine at the time.
  10. Yeah, I figured that much.. that's why I was worried. Also, if you read my later edit, I disabled AMD Cool'n Quiet from the BIOS,installed Ryzen Power Plan, changed the Kraken x62 to Performance Mode, and ran AIDA64 for about 15 minutes to see results. Now, it sits at about 38C, 1.25/1.26 volts constant (max 1.28) and after 15 min of AIDA64 it went up to about 61C. I think it should be ok now.. right?
  11. Hi guys! Just finished installing my new PC, everything worked fine right out of the box, the only thing I had to change was to enable XMP to run the ram at 3200. After doing some small benchmarks to see if everything was working ok, i came across a problem(?) with my Ryzen 5 1600x. My clock speeds kept fluctuating on idle, going from 1.2ghz to 3.7ghz, with the voltage doing the same, from 1.2 to 1.5. I'm not much of an overclocker, so I was kind of scared of changing the voltages and such.. so I searched online, and I found out AMD had a driver update for a Ryzen Balanced power plan.So I installed that, and now my core clock is stable.. running at full 3.7ghz, but the voltage still fluctuates like that. The thing is, the CPU always sits at around 40C temperature.. sometimes even higher at idle. Keeps going up from 39 to 49 in a matter of seconds. I have a Kraken X62 installed, so in my opinion it shouldn't run so hot on idle, right?(I am using it on Silent mode, but still..) Can you guys help me out here? Is this normal? Here is a video https://streamable.com/50uas Later edit: I went ahead and disabled AMD Cool'n Quiet from the BIOS, and now Ryzen Master is showing it going at 1.275(sometimes bumping up to 1,28125) constant, with 3.7 ghz constant , but the temps still seem a bit high.. about 44 at idle, with the Kraken in Silent mode. Did I do something good? lol..
  12. OMG Luke used to play Lineage 2!! Nice!! Get those Baium and Antharas jewels I used to play that game to death back in the day.. so stoked it's coming to mobile(and I think to PC too? not sure).
  13. As the title says .. don't laugh, I just want to be sure nothing goes wrong. Basically, I have a 2x4 HyperX Fury 1600mHz kit, found a bargain online on the same ones and I want to buy them.. but will two 2x4 kits present any problems? Thanks in advance!
  14. Noted.. thank you! My biggest gripe would be with the GPU.. that's why I created this topic to begin with. As far as the other components go, I think they will do just fine for a 2 year period.. I just don't want to cheap out on the GPU as I've done in the past..
  15. That's like saying you don't agree with Jesus in a church.. haha But seriously.. we're getting kind off topic.. To put in different.. for 1000 euros/1200 usd (or w/e the conversion rates are), you have a free Kraken x61 and that Integra M 750W psu.. can you propose a build that will hold 1080p, no OC, "mainstream" gaming for at least 2 years + ?
