  1. if you want to have silence it is actually better to have as much rad space as possible because you can turn down the fans rally low and get the same performance
  2. if you have a high budget Linus has a review of a razer backpack:
  3. if it is from dell or hp then it might be a challenge but as far as I know it should work
  4. but for most games it doesn't affect it anywhere near enough to pay more for it
  5. I think that it works but you cant change it it might with ai suite but I'm not sure
  6. frequency does not affect games at all. just choose on what looks nice
  7. I get the overclocking thing that OK but the ssd is probably a good idea to get bigger, I have a 120gb and it really is quite small
  8. if the screen is on but you cant use the touch thing its a problem with the main logic board and you'll have to go to an apple store for the touch id sensor then apple will probably also fox that too. its sounds like its a board error so apple will probably charge you quite a lot for it, you can go to third party repair if apple costs to much
  9. if you have the money then you should buy a k series cpu and a z170 so you can overclock it, other wise welcome to the pcmr friend!
  10. I recommend a larger SSD (24gb min) and to get a 6700k so you can overclock. Jayztwocents has a video on if it is safe:
  11. I also recommend Intel if you can wait for zen then that is a good Idea
  12. I have 2 27 inches and its awesome, I recommend one larger one as games don't work on both monitors at once. it works for three if you want to do surround gamin
  13. sorry for got the link lol
  14. LTT has a video that includes comparisons to the h100i
  15. you probably cant put an new gpu in a notebook, it probably isn't the right size and it is really hard to find the 980 that fits in notebooks anyway. as for the ram but some sodimm ddr4 ram and slam it in, it should be pretty simple but might void your warranty.
  16. looking forward to Polaris, hoping red team can put pressure on nvidia to make better value cards. plus the rx 480 looks soo good for the price
  17. at the moment a hybrid SSD HDD system is better but SSD's are getting higher and higher capacities you say so next year it is quite possible that a full SSD PC for mass storage would be sensible and super nice. BTW I have two SSDs in my rig ... so bring on the nand-flash
  18. if you put the rad as exhaust it will remove heat from the case and still cool your CPU, but if not it can increase case temps a bit but probably not as much as a normal air cooler. hope this helps
  19. I think you Graphics card or monitormay only have HDMI 1.3 or earlier as 1.4 allows for higher resolutions. and the cable doesn't matter as long as it actually works. if you can see of you graphics card has a Displayport connector. Displayport plugs look like this:
  20. to be hones if you don't have to colour match use the ones you get with your case case fans don't normally affect temps much.
  21. good point but ddr3 is still SUPER common so it is quite unlikely it will become obsolete for a while.
