Thats a pretty interesting mod. The only 775 mod i know is the 771 to 775 mod. the FSB mod is something completely new to me. I'll give that a try with my Q6700. hopefully bring that up to around 3.0GHz.

It does, but I only have a single 55 year old paper speaker in the middle of the dash in it and the radio is AM only.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did end up getting the Flip 4 and man is that thing loud! the sound is really clear and crisp too! A bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion, I don't want to hack up an original working radio in my car so this was the best option in the end. 

I found myself in the same exact scenario not too long ago. I own a '70 Volkswagen Beetle and I wanted to listen to my own tunes without altering my car's originality. I decided on a JBL Flip 4 that fits perfectly in my cup holder/picnick basket. When not in use, I store it in my glovebox so my interior still looks authentic  
 
I'm not too sure how loud your car gets, but the Flip is loud enough to overpower my thumping 'sewing machine'.

The all American horse orchestra under the hood should be more than enough music for you. But there's this. I don't know how loud it will be compared to your freedom machine though.

i have an antec EA green 650w and i got that from pulling it out of a old computer off my schools edump. and it being going strong for a year now. i have no idea how long it has been in the previous pc but im assuming at least 8 years

Low profile fans are 15mm.
There are no 5mm thick radiators.
Why would you ever try putting watercooling in a laptop...

How old are the 1TB drives in your setup? typically, from my experience. I noticed that the older drives tend to be louder than newer hard drives. Also the older hard drives of the same capacity tend to be heavier than the newer drives as well. But what the others said is true as well. Larger capacity hard drives tend to have slower RPMs so it would logically make less noise than a higher RPM hard drive 

Loses to Haswell.

They put the "direct competitor" as the i3-7100 and i3-7300 when the Pentium G4560 melts mops the floor with it for price/performance. 

G4560 is only $70 and gets about the same performance, i5-7600K matches the R5-1600 + 3200MHz while the i7-7700K blows the 1700 in gaming and CAD editing, but not rendering. 

No one buys R3 for content creation or an i5 for that matter.
 
Can grab a locked i5 and cheapo board for less or the same money and have better gaming performance.

It's hard to know since the wording isn't clear and it's gibberish all three ways that I've tried it in my head.
