  1. I have a few that I try. First is 123DVDCopyDVD, The nest is Nero and Audacity, and if that dosent work then I use a old version of Cool Edit Pro. There is a ton of programs out there to ripping cd's. if you cant rip it and you have a way to plug in a cd player then i would try that as well.
  2. I have used both of them but as they are pretty close to being the same. For me I would get the one that was the cheaper of the two. The only deference is going to be the cartridge and the needle. The is going to be the biggest deference in the sound.
  3. You cant go wrong with Technics. They are one of the best turntables out there. The biggest this is the cartridge and needle that is something that i haven't played around. That is something that i am going to play around one day when i have the time and money to do it.
  4. Yea I know. about 5 years agaio I almost got my hands on some tube amps that were rack mount but some one got to them before I could get the money together. The bad part of it that they didnt work and had been in the garage for years so I didn't know what of shape there going to be in. So in a way i was glad but sad at the same time. I still keep my eyes out but somthing for a far price.
  5. Man I am still using my sound blaster audigy 2 and my Live! 5.1. Even tho they are still being used into older rigs but would like to have a audigy into my newer rig. This onbord sound sucks and no i dont want to use a usb device eather.
  6. Man I thought I was the only one into Hi-Fi on computers. One of my projects is digitizing my music onto the computer. It is something that i have been working on for 20 years now. I still need a few more things for the setup but for the most part i got it where it still sounds like what i am digitizing. For the computer that i am using for digitizing it has a Sony surround sound receiver with Sony three way speakers 8" woofers 4"mids and 1" tweeter, 2 subs a 12" and a 10", 2 3" rears and a small sizes center speaker. Over where my other stuff sets I have a Pioneer amp with a Kenwood receiver. A 8 channel dj mixer. A Pioneer turntable. A Tacsam Da-30 dat player. I also have 3 tape decks- marantz rack mount studio deck- Teac deck with dbx 1 in it and a Aiwa deck as well. I also have a Sony mini disk player as well. when I build my a new space this setup is going to change. I have a friend is going to give 2 studio amps and 2 eqs. I am also looking into getting a few tube preamps as well and i still have my zenith console stereo that I am going to be restoring. That is what I have just into my computer room. would post pic but it is torn up becuse i am packing it up so I can move the baby in there.
  7. here is one that is crazy to jam to.
  8. OOOOOOOOOooooo........... That is a good one.
  9. Anything thing up to the 80's. I don't have just one song that I love the most.
  10. You know that is a hard one for me but the one band that I have on quite a few mediums is Boston. The first 3 albums are the best.
  11. For me I am glad that they are back together again. When I heard that Top Gear was no more I was ticked. I was so mad that it took me a hole year to finish the last season. Then I watched it with the new people and it didn't fell like they wanted to be doing it. They had really big shoes to fill. You can tell that in the Grand Tour they are trying to get back into the swing of things.
  12. I have music on all the time. The only time that I dont have music going is when I sleep. I am working on revamping my sound system too.
