  1. hello im looking for some help , im looking to play sound and video from multiple device on one pc .at the same time and use synagey for the key board and mouse.to move between them. does any one now of a video capture card that can do this. i need one that can capture from about 8-12 devices using hdmi the idea is to split my 85" tv into 8-12 sections so all my computer towers ,laptops, tv box, phone, and game consoles are easy to access. ive looked at kvm (key board video mouse device) and altho they they do the same kind of idea they only play one video and audio out put at once and you have to keep switching between them so they are not really any good for what i want. i want basicly a multiple monitor set up with multiple devices on a single monitor

  10. Linus should make a video's about challenging his fans the rules are this a fan is picked from the forum at random the fans rig is then valued at currant prices (this is the amount Linus has to spend building his rig) both rigs will be judged on 5 aspects (sound level / looks / CPU performance / GPU performance and file transfer speed's) Linus can not use any of the components that the fan has already used (he must find different alternatives for instance if the fan has used a 1080 graphics card Linus can not also have a 1080 graphics card he must use something like x2 980 in SLI) using a mixture of brands like INTEL and AMD products is allowed (its not a test of witch brand is better only who has build the best PC for the money.) although shopping around for deals on components from site to site is allowed. Linus can not use his fame or contacts to get deals on components. (all components must be purchased anomalously from sites like new egg, amazon and performance PCs) both PCs will be furiously tested on looks, sound levels, file transfer speeds, CPU scores and GPU score and points will be awarded accordingly (the person with the highest score wins) the winner will be determine by an independent judge and a prizes will be awarded to the fan if he wins
  11. ok im hoping some one can help me im looking to buy a 32gig optan drive that linus mentions below. will this work with my Rampage V Edition 10 Intel X99 (Socket 2011) DDR4 EATX Motherboard only the fact that he say's it only works with a 200 series mother boards throwing me off shorly it would work with any modern mother board that has a m.2 slot ? and if it works with a modern intell board then shorly it will work with a amd4 mother board aswell witch im also wanting one for. im a little lost on what would allow it to work on some mother boards and not on others so can some one please explain it to me
  12. hello i am wondering if people can help me i have heard a rumor about ryzen cpu's having problems with dual and quad channel ram and that they cart support ram that is above 2400mhz does any one know any thing about as im thinking about buying one
  13. i would really like linus to review this item when its released. its a kick starter project and i know they normally end up being disasters that if they even get of the ground to start with. but this is one i hope will work. the price is $1400 dollars so i wont invest my cash until i know its worth the money. but if it is i may eventually buy a second or even a third as they say it can work with each other. i am hoping they will bring out extension arms for this too i believe that all 3d printers should be built like this so you are not limited to a set build size. and if you can use multiple arms to make a 3d print faster that all the better. this could also lead into 5d printing with one arm doing the 3 axis dimensions and a second arm doing the 4th and 5th axis at the same time. so far the possibilities are endless with 3d printing 5d printing is only the next step and its only a matter of time before companies like maker-bot and ulti-maker realise this.
