  1. I was going to ask as well , can i run my headphones with just a amp on my pc? or do i need a dac as well? , and can i get a dac/amp combo built together?
  2. Thanks for the info! , As for the headphone amp , i can spare around the 75$ to 150$ range. I just want something that can properly power my headphones and good quality sound , and connect to my pc with ease . is there anything out there i can get?
  3. Is there a dac/amp combo piece of equipment for my headphones, so i could connect it to my PC via USB.
  4. Im looking at the site , and since im not to familiar with audio , is there something that can power my headphones and my microphone at the same time?
  5. Im a little lost , So what is a scarlett 2i2? is it a dac? amp? mixer? . And if i were to get a amp , would i also need another one for my microphone? or is there something out there than can supply enough power to my headphones and microphone?
  6. If its something not mentioned in the post i just made , then nope . (Im fairly new to audio) , Where could i get an amp for these headphones? and what could you recommend ?
  7. So i recently purchased a Dt770 pro 250 omhs headphones , and decided to pair it with a scarlett 2i2 (3rd) Gen , and an AT2020 Condenser mic . The problem im having is that the headphones are not loud enough , i have the dial turned up to 100% and even with YouTube turned up to full volume , it feels like im listening to it at 50% volume. Am i missing a setting or got a wrong part? I would love to listen to your opinions
  8. Hey i just received the amp and the headphones , and i have them connected . I downloaded the software . But after all that , they dont seem very loud . Is there any settings to improve volume?
  9. I gave it another test with all my stuff in the background closed and anti-virus disabled
  10. My fps tends to drop very rapidly from time to time . I cant tell if its not drawing enough power , or if im bottle necking myself . My temps on load are around 50-68c CPU When gaming . Same thing for my card , around 60-70 C
  11. Not sure . I had all my tabs closed , only my antivirus and steam are running in the backround
  12. Hey so i recently just built a computer which i thought would have nice potential when i built it. But so far its not what i expected it to be . And i was hoping to find out if my build is any good and if anybody had some recommendations or point out flaws in my build . ill leave a example of a benchmark i did in heaven breach. Any recommendations? What should i upgrade? Or what parts dont pair well with what? Cpu : Ryzen 2700x Mobo : ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming GPU : NVIDIA RTX 2060 RAM : Corsair Pro RGB 16GB (2X8 ) 3000MHZ PSU : RM850x SSD : 1TB SSD Samsung EVO
  13. The thing is i have amazon gift cards to help with the price . And the only one available in amazon right now is the Focusrite Scarlett Solo . https://www.amazon.com/Focusrite-Scarlett-Audio-Interface-Tools/dp/B07QR6Z1JB?th=1 But if the scarlett 2i2 is the only option . then ill get it for sure
  14. Is it the Focusrite Scarlett Solo . I saw the scarlett 2i2 , but it looks like it has 2 mic ports instead of one . i dont know if that matters
  15. Oh alright . I was interested in the Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Studio XLR Microphone . If i decided to only get that basic amp for my headphones. Would i need to buy another amp for my microphone? Or is there something that can do both . I dont mind paying a bit higher to future proof myself if im interested in getting better mics in the future.
  16. What amp would you recommend for the dt 770 250 ? I'm also intrested in using a audio Technician mic , and I hear that you need a amp in order to use it on the pc . Is there something that could help me connect the two?
  17. Would the 80hms version be alright as well? Or do you think only the 250s are worth it?
  18. I agree with c.Banks . It could just be your motherboards dimm slots . I would contact for a replacement for sure if the previous steps didnt work.
  19. Your ram is on the qvl list no doubt . Have you tested your pc with other ram sticks to see if the dimm slots are functional? . As well as making sure that they are in the A2 , B2 Position of the motherboard? . And to see if they were seated correctly by lining the middle of the ram with the little space in between them? . These may seem like dumb questions but you would be surprised that even a seasoned veteran would still mess this up. Test the pc with your original ram first with the same ram slots . Then try what i just posted
  20. Are you sure its not 4/7/20 . Unless thats from the future haha
  21. Im not to well versed on how amd installs their drivers over existing ones. But im sure AMDs driver tool has a protective measure on it to not download a driver over a existing one. I already had a chipset driver installed from my motherboards driver page and i still installed AMDs version of it and it works perfectly fine . So no need to worry about it As for the driver , i found it manually through their page. https://www.amd.com/en/support I just selected my correct chipset on the list and just downloaded the file . It has its own executable.
  22. Yeah the motherboard websites dont tend to update as fast as the main amd website . Atleast thats how my power plans showed up
  23. Have you enabled D.O.C.P on the bios? And if your ram is on the motherboards qvl list , then theoretically it should be working just fine . Take a look at your bios settings .
