I really wanted one of these but I couldn't go and didn't realize I could get it with floatplane sub.
But I bought the mystery deskpad during the sale event and got it!
Thank you LMG!

Best they keep their private internal investigate private and internal. Strangers on the internet have established a well founded track record of the inability to keep civil so no need to tell us. A win win win.

At the moment my mobo only has 2 m.2 ports and I also don't feel like buying a riser card. Plus I can barely tell the difference in speed even when loading a game.

"Only"? I'd love to have one of those slots for my boot disk!
HP didn't put an NVMe slot on the board of the z840 workstation, instead, they sold a riser card as a separate addition. Hey, at least it's got a nice heatsink...

Hard drives sure have an allure to them. I use 10K and 15K SAS drives for all of my video editing and file servers, and older SATA drives as boot disks in systems that don't get shut down often...

For me its data rot on ssds I use hard drives for cold storage as I usally dont power a drive for like a year or longer.
I have a couple of ssd for boot or dumping footage but its mostly hard drives.

Even with the price of SSD's today I still gravitate to spinning rust for my everyday machine.

I enjoy the minimalistic designs that fractal design has to offer for PC Cases! It does tire your eyes out for awhile. It is a nice mood setter for bedrooms tho.

Gaz3ll3 got a reaction from Evolution. in What Drives you to live
I have honestly never thought about this subject. and it can understandably be truly a hard question to answer unlike some of you guys that answered relatively shortly.
In my opinion it is what I don't know that pushes myself forward and yet I do find myself day in and day out never pushing myself to do something different. I may be stuck in a rut with my life and just need that one thing to really push myself in a new direction. Each day I find myself waking up doing the usual human need then getting on the PC and gaming or heading off to work; get home and get back on the PC. Sleep and repeat. I recognize the fact that I have the problem that I fear the unknown and want to have a purpose as to why I go out and leave the house to go do something. Too often than not I want to know the unknown but make too many excuses to not find them out.
As humans there is always something that gives us the drive to continue to live even those that contemplate suicide they do innately have a reason to live but are not immediately seeing it.
I live to be myself but at the same time be someone that is me but different. The drive to become someone that is wholly better than I currently am.

Honestly kinda hard to decide they both look very similar. On the workstation on do you think that you would be able to upgrade components yourself?
The 4000 one has a quadro

Gaz3ll3 got a reaction from TheHiddenCreeper in Will this be enough? 500w for 1080 non manual oc
As much as I'd be beating around the bush, get a 750w PSU. Overtime it will degrade, Plus if you get one that runs to close to an estimated power limit then you may run into system instabilities

really? It's a 1070. Whether a GPU is good or not really is up to you and what kind of games and settings you want to play.
