  1. Either XFX or Sapphire when going with an AMD card. Best thing to do is wait for AIB cards to be released, unless you are rocking a small chassis
  2. Minimal RGB is preferable in my case, if it looks aesthetically pleasing I'll use it but if its all in your face and look at me RGB I hate it. subtlety is key.
  3. No doubt about it that a standalone mic is superior, I even tried out the snowball at one point but found that it picked up too much noise from my keyboard but other than that it was perfect.
  4. Alright so I feel i need some help ultimately deciding on which set of headphones to keep, the Razer Kraken 7.1 v2 and the Logitech G533. I must say though that I have already bought both pairs and wanted to compare them in person. Sound wise they are very similar to me, but where they most differ is the mic. The one on the Razer just sounds louder and more clear where as the logitech one is much quieter even on max volume and it could be due to the pop filter on it. I've wanted to go wireless for awhile because cords can be kind of a pain at times. I want to say that I do do some streaming and the mic is kind of important. I know i could get a standalone mic but I dont stream that much and don't feel like spending the money on a dedicated mic. Yet my other option is to return the headphones and use my Sony MDR-HD950 headphones along with a mod mic which others will probably say is the better bet. Just trying to get my options out
  5. The issue I am facing is that using my computer overtime throughout the day leads to memory usage slowing increasing which eventually reaches max and im forced to restart and clear it out. I'm someone who is pretty technical on computers but even this is something that is stumping me as I've never seen this on any other system that I own. I can understand if windows is keeping a lot of things in cache for use but the rate at which this happens is way tooo fast. I dont have an example yet because I just restarted my system for the day but on a normal restart I will start out with rough;y 15-20% memory utilization when looking at task manager. Pretty much what happens is ill use my PC normally for me, chrome tabs, youtube, discord and a game open. There are days when I stream to twitch, I use OBS, and the memory usage spikes which makes sense but after ending the stream and close out all of my programs that the memory utilization will stay around 75-80% or higher which baffles me. This makes me wonder if I have a memory leak somewhere with one of my applications or if its time to do a fresh install of windows 10.
  6. Honestly quote them for a day longer than you think it would take just in case you encounter something that takes you longer than expected to do. Honestly explain it to them what needs to be done and If you finish it earlier than you tell them it makes them happy. But that''s my two cents
  7. I have honestly never thought about this subject. and it can understandably be truly a hard question to answer unlike some of you guys that answered relatively shortly. In my opinion it is what I don't know that pushes myself forward and yet I do find myself day in and day out never pushing myself to do something different. I may be stuck in a rut with my life and just need that one thing to really push myself in a new direction. Each day I find myself waking up doing the usual human need then getting on the PC and gaming or heading off to work; get home and get back on the PC. Sleep and repeat. I recognize the fact that I have the problem that I fear the unknown and want to have a purpose as to why I go out and leave the house to go do something. Too often than not I want to know the unknown but make too many excuses to not find them out. As humans there is always something that gives us the drive to continue to live even those that contemplate suicide they do innately have a reason to live but are not immediately seeing it. I live to be myself but at the same time be someone that is me but different. The drive to become someone that is wholly better than I currently am.
  8. @Technicolors What is the battery life like. Videos on youtube are all over the place concerning this. Already know the fact that ill be getting a case but do you recommend any other accessories?
  9. Hello everyone so I've been wanting to get a new phone for awhile as an upgrade to my G4. While it honestly has aged well for me there are the occasional freezes and severe slow downs that require a restart. Along with that I am leasing the phone. My plan is to switch to Tmobile as for how I use my phone it works out the best, currently on Sprint blah. What I am having trouble at this point is deciding on the device and it really comes down to whether I get a last gen device or current ones as I have narrowed down my decision to the Moto Z with the SD 820 and the Galaxy S8. Reason I chose these is the price. I know they are capable devices and at this point I'm looking for longevity, looking to upgrade again in 2-3 yrs. Usage: general calls and texts web browsing social media music streaming tech and business tools aka wifi analyzer/ping tools and scanners very very light photo shooting S8: Fairly new newer SoC, SD 835 water resistant probably 1 xtra year of support near bezeless one of the best cameras only $575 at BB Moto: older SOC SD 820 Cheaper at $450 Last gen flagship for moto moto mods decent/average camera larger bezels memory and storage wise they are the same. I am really just looking for peoples opinions and use cases. I know I don't really do a lot with my phone and that is why I'm really leaning towards the moto but do like the added fact that the S8 may have a slightly longer support
  10. Honestly kinda hard to decide they both look very similar. On the workstation on do you think that you would be able to upgrade components yourself? The 4000 one has a quadro
  11. Ive heard from some places that it can be tight and others say your perfectly fine. but that could be with water cooling
  12. As much as I'd be beating around the bush, get a 750w PSU. Overtime it will degrade, Plus if you get one that runs to close to an estimated power limit then you may run into system instabilities
  13. The only things you need to make sure is that the BIOS/UEFI is booting from the correct drive you want. What I would also do is once in windows get any data you want from the transferred drive and move it off the drive then reformat or clear the drive you transferred over from your old machine. After that start populating it. Good Luck
  14. Hello everyone, so I am in search of a PCI(e) wireless adapter for my PC as there is the chance that I will be moving into an apartment by the end of the year. While yes I would get a powerline adapter I a. don't know how the wiring is in a building like an apartment and b. my roommate is also a PC gamer, so while having ethernet would be nice it's not end all be all as we would be pretty close to the router anyways. So I am looking for a decent adapter at $60 or less. Though I seem to be running into issues in which there are adapter that say they are not compatible with windows 10 but are for 8-8.1 which are probably very similar. The ones I am currently looking at are the: TP-Link AC1300 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016K0896K/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1AYYZ386S2Z8F&colid=37PPTW3TGH06A or Asus PCE-AC56 https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Wi-Fi-Express-Adapter-PCE-AC56/dp/B00JNA337K/ref=pd_sbs_147_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00JNA337K&pd_rd_r=F2VW7PR61R49XNNPBRH0&pd_rd_w=mYOjl&pd_rd_wg=OmF36&psc=1&refRID=F2VW7PR61R49XNNPBRH0 or Rosewill AC1300 https://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Adapter-Wireless-Network-802-11AC/dp/B01JUCUMBK/ref=pd_sbs_147_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01JUCUMBK&pd_rd_r=TGW1DM4DP7JCPVZC6NFK&pd_rd_w=HT9D0&pd_rd_wg=emF9z&psc=1&refRID=TGW1DM4DP7JCPVZC6NFK or Rosewill RNX-AC1900PCE https://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-RNX-AC1900PCE-802-11AC-Express-Wireless/dp/B0159222VS/ref=pd_sbs_147_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0159222VS&pd_rd_r=STG0KA06S13G9XKDS4T9&pd_rd_w=zZ4cL&pd_rd_wg=r0P5l&psc=1&refRID=STG0KA06S13G9XKDS4T9 Thanks for the help guys
