  1. Not too sure if this helps much, but I have an ASUS DirectCUII Strix 970 and would defiantly recommend it in terms of both aesthetics and cooling performance
  2. Yeah, only issue is I'm on a tight budget right now haha, you know how it is right after christmas
  3. My exhaust fans are running at 100% and are both decent Coolermaster fans, it provides a pretty strong flow of air I just hope that is enough to bring air through the heat sink
  4. I have not overclocked the CPU, I do not care for noise at all, I would just like the case to look good and really like how it looks without the fan haha And I have noticed a lot of passive coolers are very large and expensive
  5. Hi, new to the forums so i hope I'm doing this right I have recently built my new Pc, specs are: GPU:Asus Strix GTX 970 CPU:Intel I7 4790K RAM:32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 PSU:Corsair CX600M (Changing soon) Mobo:Asus Z97K Case:Corsair 230T Now, right now I am using the standard intel cooler that came with my CPU, however I am very particular with aesthetics and while it is doing a good job at keeping the CPU at reasonable temperatures, it looks awful in my case haha and I was looking at a 212 Evo as it is within my price range, however I would like to run it without the fan, I have an exhaust fan both directly behind and above the CPU running at max speed as I do not care for quietness too much (noise cancelling headphones) and I was wondering if this would be either equal to or an improvement over the stock cooler in terms of temperatures, thanks! -Carlstone13
