  1. put your card in another computer, if no crashes, replace psu
  2. So your ssd is fine. It just looks like you need to format your hdd since for what ever reason you have protected files on it. Ps. Don't copy over shit from your Ssd/boot drive unless you know 100% what it is.
  3. intel/amd ram is all marketing it doesn't matter, I would just get any 4x2 kit, again it doesn't matter along as your motherboard supports.
  4. I don't think you ever said that, you need some new ram then friend.
  5. What other kit?, you mean you can boot into windows with the 2gb kit on the new mobo?
  6. I don't really think the mobo is defective, sounds like you need new ram, its just a possibility. Ram is a touchy thing to troubleshoot sometimes it seem like ram is the problem then Bam its actually the ram slots and your ram is fine.
  7. Sounds like both those sticks are bad but somehow work in a weird mismatch combination. Anyway at this point there isn't anything else you can do but start replacing ram sticks or RMA motherboard. I would say start with getting new ram.
  8. I got into memtest with both KITS, now with both 4gb sticks can't do shit, but how can they both be defective when they aren't even a kit? They were separate when I bought them. If you can test them on another motherboard I would, because there is a possibility of the board being defective. Starting to sound like board is donzo
  9. You got into bios with both sticks?
  10. Yes.Safest bet would be replace the ram
  11. OK. Well take one of the 4gb sticks, and put it in slot 1 and see if it gets to bios if it doesn't put it in , slot 2 and try again then slot 3 and then 4. If you still cant get to bios try the other stick and do the same steps. If you still cant get to bios I would replace the ram.
  12. Ok sounds like you need new ram, but could you re explain the ram you have because your OP is extremely confusing and doesn't make sense. From what I understand you have a 1x2 kit and that works with the new mobo and no crashes? You have a 4x2 kit that gets to the bios but then restarts?
  13. http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm
  14. When you download memtest you get a USB image tool that you use
  15. http://www.wikihow.com/Test-PC-Ram-with-MemTest86 Yeah just create a bootable usb and run it off of that.
